When looking for a beach towel we were looking for one that is NOT one of those newer super absorbent towels. I specifically looked for thin, scratchy (didn't know how to describe it in a way that was nicer). We just hate those thick squishy towels that make you feel like you're rolling around in it without it really drying you off. Well, this towel is not only beautiful (we got the Nova Octopus one) but it was just exactly what we were looking for - an old-school, great-feeling towel! We plan to buy several more. Great product!

These towels are going to work perfect for my son at his camp this summer. They are thicker than microfiber towels, and the colors are very vibrant. They will be easy for him to spot and will also provide good coverage and warmth when out of the water. Not sure on the water absorption yet but seems like it will work just fine.

This beach towel is super soft and the colors are beautifully vibrant.

The front side is soft, while the back side is blank white and not as soft. The towels is a bit thin but will dry more quickly. I'm not sure about the absorbency because it hasn't been used yet.
