I can't believe that it lives up to it's claims, BUT IT REALLY DOES!!!! Really shocking and almost unbelievable!!! I'm 43 and have had melasma since I was 34ish. I've done everything that I can do at home to tame some of this with no results before using this peel!!! I have hormonally red skin almost all over my face...which is also greatly improved by this peel!! I have also been on Rx acne meds my entire since age 9 (early bloomer), and was until I started using this amazing peel!!! I'm not going to focus on the acne reduction because I'm used to my Rx keeping me clear so I don't see that as a problem fixed by this although it is being kept under control with this peel. I also have seborrheic dermatitis on my face which reacts badly to EVERYTHING...but not this peel!!! I've tried other peels, creams, serums, Rxs etc. None have worked on my melasma but it is clearly getting lighter with this peel!! It's pretty dark and covers much of my face so I expect no disappearance of any melasma...but this is a definite & noticeable improvement!!!! I had no idea that anything could reduce hormonal redness but apparently THIS DOES!!! I usually have an almost totally red face but now only a little on my cheeks where I'm supposed to be rosy. :) OMG: I'm still in disbelief!! I feel much more comfortable leaving the house without makeup on now and actually enjoy looking in the mirror to see all of the improvements!! The first 2 times (left it on for 1-2 minutes) I used it I really peeled...not all over but in the hot spots (peeling for 2-3 days total each time). Now I can leave it on for 4-5 minutes and just have glowing and awesome skin when I'm done. I hope that as my skin gets used to it that I will be able to increase the time I leave it on to get continued results. I hope my skin never becomes immune to this peel!! Gosh! What would I do??? Get this if you are thinking about it!!!!!! Don't hesitate!!! If you read my other reviews you will see that I'm not always raving about things or telling people to get anything. This product is a whole different ball game folks!!! Best wishes!!! UPDATE: 3/1/18 I've been using this stuff on and off for years and I still LOVE IT!!! I use some other ones also but never stop coming back to this due to the awesome effects it has on hyperpigmentations/melasma!!! I also think it reduces some redness, which is awesome!!! It's hard to find all of these skin lightening ingredients all together wrapped up into one!! NOTE: If you are trying to improve melasma or other brown hyperpigmentation I've found that using "Physical" sunscreen has been my biggest savior!!! None of those chemical sunscreens keep the brown from getting worse in the sun...but PHYSICAL sunscreeen DOES keep the sun from making your brown spots worse!!! I PROMISE!!! If you are looking for the best physical sunscreens the youtube channel hotandflashy, Angie reviews them EXTENSIVELY!!! My favorites are Australian Gold Botanical Facial 50 SPF tinted and hydropeptide brand 50 spf solar defense untined. I personally like mixing both together for my face. Get a little sweat protection and less difficult to remove. Both are great under makeup also: just make sure your sunscreen dries before you put your makeup on. BEST WISHES!!!!

At 57, skin cells don’t turn over like they do when you’re young. Products don’t work if they just sit on top of dead skin. I use this a few times a week. I leave it on for five minutes and then rinse off (start with 1 minute if you’re not used to higher concentrations of glycolic acid). It does a great job of exfoliating the dead skin. Skin may start to flake as it is working, so I use Dr. Melaxin peel shot to remove the dead layers of skin that have been loosened by this product). My skin was aging so much after menopause. This has helped to bring a glow back to my skin. And the other products that I use can get down into the skin to work better. For me, lower levels of glycolic acid were just not doing much. This product works great for me! And it starts working pretty quickly.

Nice peel. I'm an esthetician to be and skincare is my hobby for last 10 years. I've tried plenty chemical peels and can say that this stuff has great ingredients. I can only handle this peel for a minute or so and I also done TCA peels. So it s strong. I washed my face with cold water and applied post peel moisturizer. Skin feels great, tighter, smoother, good reaction. As for lightening effect time will show. I have a melasma and my darker spots are stubborn. Will see if they lighten and I'm hoping they won't get darker. If not it means kojic acid and its buddies are working;) Smell is strong, kinda of like a perm solution, but it is a mix of several acids, and I appreciate not covering it with extra fragrance just to make it smell good. It is temporary. Packaging is great and it is good value for the money. If someone will develop darker spots on melasma this is temporary and good, meaning melanin is raised to the surface and it will be slough off. Also mineral sunscreen is a must, especially peels, retin and by the way all day everyday, as sun is a reason of aging skin (80%). All he active ingredients make skin photo sensitive and prone to more sun damage. I can recommend Tizo sunscreens with zinc oxide, 20% is the best. It is the only ingredient that protects skin from UVA1, UVA2 and UVB. Chemical sunscreens can be irritating and do not act as a shield, they absorb sun rays. Also Tizo doesn't make face white! I would like to add that word peel doesn't mean people will always see visible peeling. Cell renewal rate will be faster, but not everybody will look like lizard. Last word, those peels are superficial, meaning they only penetrate epidermis (upper level). You will get burn if you keep it to long or use after other peel, sunburn etc. but it won't go any deeper to the dermis. Google, try and take care of your skin. In my opinion, peels and retinol are the way to go on a regular basis to keep skin younger. AND SUNSCREEN.

Ok so i just tried this product the smell is funky lol but it’s not too overwhelming. I did 1 minute for my first try the sting isn’t too bad, not unbearable. I washed with cold water followed with hydrocortisone cream, only because this is what the dermatologist used after i had a professional chemical peel. My face feels light and airy skin feels a little tighter it’s too soon to say if it helps with darks spots but i will update after two weeks. Everyone skin is different apparently i’m that sensitive.

I am an esthetician and I truly can not tell you how many people I have reccommended this product to! I loved it so much I started using it in the treatment room and carrying on retail, and that all started with one late night rabbit-hole Amazon purchase. The creator's story is super cool, he was a chemist and got an assignment in cosmetic formulations and decided afterwards to bring chemical peels to the people and we LOVE HIM for it! The more my clients can acheive at home the more focused work we can do in the treatment room. I love this product for bulding tolerance in the skin, reducing hyperpigmentaion (this and Alpha-arbutin will get you places!), anti-aging, acne scarring, etc... Love the TCM herbs woven in with the actives and clinical aspect, that is what makes this line truly special and so restorative. She can be SPICY depending on how in tact your barrier is and your sensitivity level. Tread lightly and hydrate heavily!

This product should be excellent like years past. Maybe I got a bad batch, the container was not sealed and the pads are brown. There was product leakage coming out the box. Very disappointed.

This is hands down the best chemical peel pad I have ever bought. Literally a facial in a pad. I’m an African American woman with normal/ dry skin and little but stubborn hyperpigmentation. I noticed a difference in terms of glow and exploitation after one use. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, I believe this is the highest strength and quality you can on the market without a prescription/ esthetician license. I felt encouraged to buy this from the other reviews from older women, they did not lie. Really fabulous stuff! I will be repurchasing! I tend to use them probably twice a week (the glow and smooth texture really last). I don’t think daily use is needed unless your really trying to target something. Make sure to moisturize really well after use. I use a moisturizer and facial oil before bed and haven’t had any issues with dryness or flaking. Overall bomb product! Bomb brand! Exceeded my expectations! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! UPDATE: I don’t have ANY hyperpigmentation anymore. & my mom told me my face looks like a mirror today because of this product! My oblivious 60 year old dad stopped me while walking just to look at my face in an inspecting sort of way and said I’m glowing! These pads are the most effective skincare I have ever gotten. Really fabulous! I’m more passionate about this company than I am with my actual 9-5! Lol I’m buying another jar before I run out- it’s that important and magical! Whoever formulated/ created this is my anonymous skincare hero- words don’t do it justice
