Hurts less than New Skin, but doesn't adhere quite as well
Seems to work almost as well as New Skin, but it stings a lot less, so if you have small kids, I'd choose this over the New Skin brand. I taught my kid to tolerate New Skin when he was small (like 3, he just wouldn't leave bandaids alone, so for small cuts, I taught him to take the momentary discomfort, is just keep blowing on it until it stopped stinging and get him to sing a song) and I wish I would have been able to offer him this, it would have seemed less mean. Otherwise I'm a bit on the fence. I think I'm probably going to order a bottle of old school New Skin but I want to try the new waterproof kind they have, because none of this stuff sticks well to my dry skin in general and I have reapply a bunch of times during the day. That's how I can tell this stuff isn't quite as good as the regular New Skin, it doesn't adhere as well. I got the package around 2pm, it's 11:30 pm now and I've already reapplied it 4 times. Which is about 2 more than my old bottle of New Skin would have taken in the same time period (I still have it, used it yesterday, I ordered this because it was so close to empty). Since I used the New Skin I had yesterday, I can directly compare it with using this today on exactly the same cut on my finger.

Works good
Seems like more product than I thought at first. The jar is larger, and inside it was a little foaming so hard to tell what the liquid level was at.Directions say to shake well, but I suspect the foam was just from shipping since I used it shortly after it arrived. Shook well just for good measure but still just as foamy.Anyhow seems easy enough to apply. I used it on a face cut that was being held together for the first couple days with a smaller butterfly type bandage. This was upper cheek Edgar if eye socket, and the bandage pulled in an odd way around the eye that was judt enough to be annoying and would get caught with the occasional itch in the area.So the 2nd day, cleaned up well, and there seemed to be already a joining of the layers from the bandage pushing things together for a bit. I didn’t have to dab on much, and the liquid filled the cut area and surrounding area well. Reading the directions, I placed a second layer on since some areas were a little deeper.Directs also that this can be applied 3 times a day. As it is now, holding together a cut now that took a good couple hours to stop seeping a little blood before. Pretty confident this could have been used for the initial fix, but I would have added the security if a bandage to pull things together while the glue set.No pain that others have mentioned but this was after a full day so the wound was no longer super sensitive or wet and that could have made the difference perhaps.

Wound Care Sealant
Great product, compare to Nu Skin. This liquid provides a protective film over skin scrapes so that the injury heals better. I’ve used this for over a year with my wounds and I know it works well. The product comes in a small bottle with a brush. The smell isn’t invasive or nasty and, after cleaning the wound with alcohol, you simply apply this over the wound. If necessary wait until dry and apply a second coat. I highly recommend this as a good way to seal the wound. **I’m not a medical professional so please follow the instructions on the package! :)

Great product with numbing agent
This should be in every first aid for traveling and home use. I have not used this one per se, but had another brand that I liked, however did not have the lidocaine (numbing agent) in it. For that reason I gave this one an extra star.

Save your money.
This stuff is pretty much worthless. It goes on very thin, and even if you decide to put on a double layer as instructed for more durable protection, it is extremely fragile. It peels and lifts with almost any kind of contact such as washing hands, sticking your hands in your pocket, wearing gloves, etc. I was looking for something that would take the place of putting band aids on my hands and fingers when I get a cut or scrape (which happens frequently due to the kind of work I do) and this does not hold up or offer much of any protection.

Not durable and definately not waterproof
Got a decent cut on the back of my hand, used a bandaid with gauze and gauze tape to keep it closed and protected. This came in the next day, and after a shower I gave it a try. The next night, while I was showering, I notice a good bit of blood going down the drain, the product had washed off and the cut opened back up. Fortunately a had ordered a different product at the same time because of the reviews here. It did relieve the discomfort, hence 3 stars.

Immediate relief
OH MY GOSH…this stuff is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I recently had a horrible allergic reaction (contact dermatitis) from the gel I have been using for years on my finger nails. The pain, redness, swelling I’m experiencing is excruciating. This Bactine liquid bandage with lidocaine immediately took away the stinging pain and redness. I’ll be buying this again and again!!
