required reading for life
Great book highly recommended. It puts in perspective what quitting means really and why it’s so hard. The book is very practical and easy to read, and has a plethora of mental biases that work against us when we need to quit. I have plans for my kids to read as I believe will help them live a better life with less regrets.

A tremendous resource for seeing your autopilot patterns and evaluating them honestly
If you are living a life with any decisions seemingly baked in, you must read this book. Ok, that’s everyone. Annie Duke does a superb job of helping explain why we stay in our current decisions too long versus making change. She puts logic, match, and cognitive bias around our normal ways of staying in comfort so we understand it. Than she offers concrete tools to evaluate when change (quitting) might make sense. A tremendous resource.

Another great book from Annie Duke
I've read Duke's other 2 books (Thinking in Bets and How to Decide) - both were fantastic! Practical, interesting and easy to read. Quit is another great read. Relevant stories, valid research and excellent writing style. I have already used several of the concepts on the book (kill criteria for one!) to make better decisions for myself and offer consulting to my clients. If you like Annie Duke, you'll love this book. If you enjoy learning how to think more effectively, this book is for you.

When you quit you choose to purse new opportunity
That is a very good about how to make a decision whether to stick to a path or change a course. I was a software engineer for over 20+ years and got laid off recently. Thoughts and strategy laid out in the books aligned with my sentiment and sense of direction I highly recommend it .

Useful Conversation about Anti-Quitting Cognitive Bias
I was really captivated by the first two-thirds of this book. She talks about the psychology of quitting and helps you see how your thinking processes are all very biased against quitting, even when it's the right call. As I was pondering quitting, I found the book really helpful. I did hit a wall after about two thirds where suddenly it felt repetitive and boring. But overall, I recommend.
