Nice heavy lock
This lock met all my expectations and more. It is quite heavy for the size and very detailed. The key design is very ornate and appealing.

This is bigger than you would think
This is not the same size as a regular padlock. I made that assumption and its too big to use the way we wanted. I'm a 6'0 tall man and its about the size of my hand, if that helps you gauge the size. I still gave 5 stars because its my fault for not looking at the dimensions. Its also very freaking awesome, so we'll find something else to do with it.

$25 heavy door stop!
I was looking for a cute fun locker lock for my work locker I saw this cute turtle lock and thought that looks amazing, however what i got was a LARGE HEAVY hunk of metal that was not only way bigger than i expected it DIDNT WORK!! I tried several times to unlock it with 1 of the 2 keys and it would not open!! I tried the 2nd key..still wouldnt open!! SO basically i got a $25 door stop!! So disappointed! What a piece of garbage! Also it had strings hanging from it and the head looked like it was going to fall off. very poorly made!!

Looks fantastic but very tricky to lock.
Loved the look however the actual locking was a bit difficult. Used it for a Lock of Love on coastal boardwalk!

Hesitant to recommend.
The lock is a bit more tarnished or dirty than I was expecting. Similar to other buyers I found the lock a bit tricky to open. However, after leaning the "trick" & unlocking it several times it works fine. The head of the turtle is a bit wobbly, I suspect that's because it's part of the locking mechanism. The lock does it's job & has a unique look. However, based on the price I wouldn't recommend this lock to others.

Such a cool lock! It was tricky to open at first, but I like the added security. After you turn the key you have to push the head to the left side, you’ll feel the spring release, otherwise the head just loosely moves.

The lock itself looks nice but every time I touch it
The lock itself looks nice but every time I touch it, it turns my hands black. It is larger than it looks which can be good or. bad depending on your needs. I bought it to use at our beach house so it would be perfect if it didn't turn my hands black even with minimal handling.
