The stitching on the plush seems to be done well enough to be able to be washed (maybe toss it in a pillow case). It hasn’t needed a bath yet, but I wouldn’t hesitate washing it if it needed one.

I bought this for my daughter, still in excellent condition... no rips so I say no.
