This book opened my eyes and helped me understand myself and how I work. Every dyslexic should give this a good try. You will be all the more wiser on how your brain sees things!

I really believe that everyone should read this book whether they are dyslexic or not. Firstly because if you are dyslexic or you know somebody that is, then this book could be life changing for you! Secondly because even though I am not dyslexic myself (Im helping somebody that is) it is so interesting that I couldn't put it down! I had no idea how differently their minds work from ours and I feel quite 'slow' in comparrison!There really is a positive side to it. Even the dyslexics that I have spoken to about the book said that they do the things mentioned in the book but had no idea that those things were even related to their dyslexia and have learnt to understand more about what happens to them and why. Mostly I urge teachers to buy this book as so many dyslexics could benefit from their teachers having this level of knowledge about it and understanding of it. Whoever you are, if you have got far enough to read this then please go ahead and buy it, its amazing!!!!

This is an excellent book and opened my eyes to the difficulties someone with dyslexia has to struggle through. I wish my grandsons infant and junior school teachers had bothered to read it instead of saying “he is just a bit slow” - Rubbish he is dyslexic!! (now proven by tests)

Arrived very promptly. Very interesting read. Intending to use it as a basis for some literacy activity groups in school.

Tedious and hard to persevere with due to it being in “American speak”. Gave up.Also, bought as very good condition 2nd hand & it really wasn’t!

I went to a talk given by someone who is a facillitator now after having gone through the program. Very inspiring, ticking many boxes.
