Grk and the Phoney Macaroni (A Grk Book)

My 7yr old son got hooked on this series when he found them at the library, but since the last 3 books were never published in the US we had trouble finding them. He was delighted when we were able to order all 3 to complete the series, and he's happily reading them now. Plus, it was pretty cool for him to see the books were shipped all the way from the UK, and former library books in great condition.

All the Grk books transport the reader to real places around the world. I'm sure the author enjoys travelling to do the research. The story is an entertaining adventure with just the right amount of challenge in the story's content for seven, eight, nine or ten year olds, especially dog lovers. The characters are placed in real jeopardy, but this is tempered with humour and joy. This book is enjoyable for children to read to themselves and also for adults to read to their children, you'll want to know how they get home. Thoroughly recommended.

My 13 y/o loves all Grk books,this one was no exception . Full of adventures , it was an enjoyment to read , he could not put it down until he was done with it.World needs to have more of these kind of books! Please don' t stop writing them!

My 7 year old son loves these books. We have virtually all the series now and they strike me as well written and have a story that interests me, as the adult reader. I hope Josh Lacey writes some more!
