I broke my ankle and tibia and had to have surgery. I've been using this for my post op now that I'm weight bearing rose help with the swelling. This has been a life saver. I placwle mine in tue freezer and I use it 3- 5x a day as needed. It get very cold and it stays cold for about 15 minutes which is as long as 8 need it too. I usually keep it on for about 30 minutes b/c it also acts as a compression sleeve and help alleviate the pain. It fits great and it doesn't time long to freeze.

These are great. I'm having serious plantar fasciitis issues and it's causing my ankles to swell. I have small feet and it slips right over my feet and ankle and fastens with velcro strap. They can get quite cold so I usually leave them on the counter a few minutes then put them over socks. I haven't tried them for heat because I'm afraid I'll blow them up in the microwave. But I highly recommend.

Great ice pack for ankle or foot pain. Experiencing heel pain and this made it easy to ice periodically. Very comfortable and easy to take on and off. Only gave 4 stars because it does not stay cold as long as I would like but still worth the money.

Thank you for the amazing gift of cold wrapping around my heel, ankle, and ball of foot. Plantar fasciaitis has had my foot heated up, sore, and weak. The cooling relief of the soft sleeve is magic! There is only one in the package so buy two.

I normally do not write reviews. I suffered a SEVERE broken ankle that resulted in surgery, rod, plates, 16 screws and 8 weeks no weight bearing. I'm finally to the point I can use my ankle after 2 1/2 months. I began suffering a lot of swelling but my ice packs did not work great. THIS!!! This is the best support, ice pack & comfort! Life saver!!

They just don't stay cold long enough to really do any real cooling or reduction of inflammation.I picked these up because I was struggling with Plantar fasciitis and slipped them on the afflicted foot/heel after a run. They do feel nice... For about 1 minute. Then that's it. They need better-insulating properties to keep them colder for longer. They are Gel wraps but the gel itself just doesn't get cold enough or stay cold enough long enough.

Although these don't hold the cold or heat too long, they are wonderful and do get cold and heated up on demand easily. Great therapy.

I broke my ankle in two places about a month ago & the cast just came off. The hospital only put one screw in, my doctor told me that they should have put two in. They gave me a "walking boot" though I'm not supposed to walk on it just yet. The left side, where they didn't put a screw in is healing a little bit slower & burns/aches quite a bit. I wear these quite a bit & they provide incredible relief. Although the coldness lasts only around 20 minutes (you're only supposed to ice it for 20 minutes at a time anyways), they are much more comfortable than the ice packs & with two, I can rotate... throw one in the freezer, while I'm wearing the other, swap them out hourly. Even when I'm wearing the boot, which I only do if I go out or am banging around the house trying to do things, I can wear one of these underneath, so even when the cold runs out, they provide extra cushion as before the boot would be digging into the side of my ankle. Another bonus is that they slide on & off very easily. I love these things!
