The Army Painter Speedpaint: Holy White

I've been using The Army Painter's Speedpaint, specifically the Grim Black shade, for my Marvel United miniatures, and it's been a game changer. This color brings out the details and adds depth to the figures, making them stand out on the battlefield. The consistency of the paint is just right, allowing for smooth application without losing any of the intricate details of the miniatures. It dries quickly too, which means I can enjoy painting without long waiting times. For any miniature painting enthusiasts, especially Marvel United players, this Grim Black shade is a must-try. It's made my painting sessions more enjoyable and my miniatures more visually striking.

Amazing, it arrived super fast. I dint try yet the ink so I can't say anything about the pigmentation but I know the brand already and normally I really like the final color in the miniature.

Fantastic ease of application and excellent customer service.

I bought this for painting white fur on some artic themed minis, and it works fantastically for that. But there are a few things you need to understand.1; squeeze out the first couple drops, and toss it. That's standard with Army Painter; it's just some medium used to keep the paint from drying out in storage.2; you absolutely have to make sure this is properly mixed up. It's very finicky and tends to separate if you let it sit for even an hour. Even while on your pallet. I suggest squeezing out a few drops into a paint tray and giving it a good stir with a clean toothpick. If it's not a pale grey color then its not mixed properly. If its dark, then you have a try full of pigment and basically no medium.3; paint this over white. Not grey, and certainly not black. I know mini painters love our Zenithal Prime, but this paint wasn't meant for that. This goes over white. No ifs, ands, or buts. It's basically a glorified wash that leaves the raised details unpainted, so if those details aren't white to begin with, they won't be white afterward. There is NO white pigment here; it's a pale grey wash. Use it appropriately. This is meant to add a subtle shading effect to something ALREADY painted white, not to paint something white.

Since it’s water based it would drip and splatter so well. Added to the realism of the blood. Only thing I would note is I tried to make fingerprints/ handprint marks with it and it wouldn’t stick to my prints since it’s water based. Would recommend

Just not quiet the color I expected.. bit brighter than Forest sprite. Forest sprite is perfect tho.
