Not sure, I think it is polyester.

Is this nylon or polyester thread?

Not sure. But if you use it for what's listed or something along those lines you should be good. For me it's leather, canvas and heavy weight clothes to be packed.

As the owner of three Super Chewer German Shepherds, I know a thing or two about repairing dog toys, and furniture, and clothes, well you get the point. And yes, this can repair dog toys, at least the cloth ones. Super strong thread and a decent needle assortment for most situations.

Will 3 threads fit through the needle head?
