Cost-cutting and "environmental" concerns. So they claim. It's more about keeping the shareholders happy and cutting corners wherever they can and still get the figures out the best they can. It's a mess. This is the new normal.

How tall is this figure?

Roughly 5 inches and a little over. She's regular Deluxe height. She's not a Voyager or a Core/Legends Class. If you've seen the Thrilling 30 version of her, this one's the same height.

This or the thrilling 30?

They are both the same in the basic build. This one is some better parts and paint to match the 86 movie version. Thrilling 30 is really close to this, but based on the IDW comic. Both are great, but I go with this one (series 86)
