I was very excited to hop into a small scale rally and this one in particular sure looks amazing and has a pretty solid design overall but I honestly think I got a dud, a lemon so to speak. There must be a major manufacturing hiccup/flaw because the second I turned it on and gave it a go, I heard the absolute worst cringe worthy gear grinding I have ever heard and it literally stutters when giving it throttle. I am very disappointed in my purchase and have yet to hear back from the seller when originally reaching out for help or a replacement. If it wasn't for the god awful gear grinding and really poor throttle response, it would be a great purchase... I was really, really looking forward to racing around with my dad because he got the same model, diff body style though and his runs amazing.If the seller sees this, can I PLEASE get a replacement?

It has been over 20 years since I bought a new RC car. Reason to pickup this new RC car is because my 6 years old son recently received his first monster truck RC for X'mas. I bought this unit to play along with him in the park.This brushless rc is FAST. No kidding. It took a little time for me to get the hang of it. Afterward, my son wanted to play with mine instead of his monster truck rc. Oh well. Everything work well as described. Other than that, I think it was a little expensive.Will update this review in a few months if needed.Thank you,

This is definitely a great budget on road rally rc. I personally do not use it for drifting because I personally think it's pointless but for on road racing and on road, paved, or packed dirt tracks this thing is a great value for the $. I would ONLY recommend the brushless Pro version since it is a pretty good set up for the size. I'm personally not a fan of the gyro but it helps I suppose for beginners in RC. QUALITY BUDGET CAR FOR SURE.

I have the “hoonitruck” version as well. The “hoon” works well. Bought the hatchback one and has a range of about 50ft. Struggled to get speed runs. Gyro is too sensitive and only works under throttle instead of all time while powered on

Everything works like it should. Car isn’t to great off road though, though it is pretty zippy or “fast” lol
