Compact Design, BIG SOUND!
I've been on the quest for a sound bar since I upgraded my TV last year. I wanted the Q-Symphony integration for my Samsung QN65 but didn't want, or need, a high-end unit. For my use, I didn't see the value of spending a lot of money on a sound bar and additional surround sound speakers. I'd read all the reviews and decided to give the S700D a try. Set up was a breeze. I switched of the power strip to my TV, plugged in the sub-woofer and sound bar, switched the power strip back on and everything connected seamlessly. The only setting under audio I had to change was to select "TV + Soundbar" to enable the Q-Symphony function. I noticed right away that the dialog from the unit was much clearer than the TV speakers alone had been prior to installing the sound bar. I was concerned that I didn't hear sound from the TV speakers while watching standard streaming content, news, etc. Apparently the Q-Symphony function only works while viewing streaming content with 5.1 audio, such as Netflix movies and shows. If you want to put the system through it's paces, I highly recommend watching "Damsel" and "Oblivion", both on Netflix. The sound was HUGE and the TV speakers became part of the 5.1 surround effect. With my premium subscription to MAX, I was able to watch content streaming in 4K with Dolby Atmos audio and was very impressed by surround effect produced by the S700D sound bar and TV speakers. Since I do not have rear speakers, I wouldn't say the sound is "immersive" but there is a substantial depth, clarity, separation, bass response and dynamic range in the audio making this system a great value and option for anyone wanting to improve their listening experience. Many streaming providers offer premium subscriptions that offer 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos such as Netflix and MAX. I added the sound bar to my Smart Things app which does make controlling features a little easier. I'm not sure why but the only sound modes available are "Game" and "Adaptive Sound". I'm using adaptive sound which monitors the audio in real time and adjust for optimum sound quality. I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it!

Sleek Stylish Soundbar
I’ve been testing out the Samsung S800D soundbar, and it delivers way more power than I expected from such a slim design. Setup was straightforward — the wireless sub connected immediately, and the soundbar paired with my Samsung TV in just a few minutes. The Dolby Atmos really shines with movies and streaming — the sound feels like it’s moving around you without the need for extra rear speakers. Voices are clear, bass has a strong punch, and the SpaceFit Sound Pro calibration actually made a noticeable difference in my open living room. I also like the Adaptive Sound feature since it adjusts automatically whether I’m watching a movie, sports, or just regular TV.For gaming, Game Mode Pro adds depth and immersion, and the Q-Symphony feature synced perfectly with my Samsung TV speakers for a fuller effect. Alexa built-in is convenient, and the soundbar responds quickly to voice commands.Overall, this is an impressive package for anyone wanting premium, room-filling sound without bulky equipment. Ultra-slim, easy to use, and packed with features that actually deliver. Definitely a five-star soundbar.

Quirky, especially the Alexa/Amazon integration
I bought this speaker for the aesthetics, which probably isn't a good reason to buy a speaker, but I wanted a white one to blend in on my wall, and it does that well. However, this speaker is weird. First of all, when using it as a smart speaker with Alexa to play music, the volume varies drastically from song to song on Amazon music. You can't hear one, so you turn it up, but then the next song is painfully loud. None of my other Alexa enabled speakers do this. Second, for whatever reason, it doesn't work with multi room sound groups in Alexa. Just doesn't show up as an option, so I can't add it to my downstairs group, for instance, to play music throughout my house. Also, if you try to use a voice command while it's playing something, you practically have to yell at it. Finally, the q-symphony is nice but it doesn't remember that it was the last setting when I turned off the tv so I'm always having to change the sound setting. I do love the wireless configuration, though. That's a game changer. No more mess of cables.
