I'm happy with my new typewriter. It is user-friendly, and I would definitely recommend it. It works as advertised.

Item was as advertised. Worked right out of the box. No difficulties noted or anticipated. Shipping was quick and aheadof schedule.

Easy to use to write checks and small thank you notes using smaller paper. Sometimes the old way is the best way.

I should have listened to the many cautionary tales in the reviews. But, much to my dismay, followed the good ones and price was as low as I could find. Arrived quickly, well packaged, but the correction spool was disconnected. Very hard to re-do myself and when I called customer service, static on the line on top of the foreign accent prevented me from getting any help there. I have emailed customer service and have had no response. Attempted to fix myself but could not get ribbon cassette to come off. Very touchy typing keys also. Cheap plastic case which sticks and need to pry open where things should open easily. Am an older person with no car and there are few typewriter repair shops in Orlando. (a good typewriter repairman would refuse to work on it anyway!) I will keep trying to fix it as too much hassel to return it.All boxes it came in have been recyled. My advice is to just believe the negative reviews. ....Amazon, you keep asking for my reviews and above is one--can you do anything?

Used one like this years ago and thus is a great replacement. Mainly got it for recipe cards at were impossible to format on my computer.

If ordered through Amazon the delivery take much longer than expected, but the type writer itself was very good quality.

Just what I needed, I don't have the software on my Mac Mini to fill forms (preview is worthless at that) or address envelopes. I have Essential Tremors and writing is difficult. I just got this and it is the answer for me! I didn't realize that it is electric and a biggy for me is that if I misspell something I can correct it.
