Beautiful glazed layers of cerulean blue and raw pottery grace the outside of this new twist on a traditional Yerba Mate Gourd. Hand thrown on a potter's wheel, dried then "dip glazed" by hand and fired, a process that takes several days. We've added a thumb "dimple" in front to hold your cup securely and a hand formed "spout" for the straw to rest in. The unique shape makes it perfect for use as a sugar bowl or cream pitcher and would be an awesome mini pot for succulents.Comes with a traditional spoon shaped "Bombilla" strainer straw to extract the maximum benefits from the teas. Great for any loose leaf teas or coarsely ground coffees.Comes well packaged and ready for gift giving. Includes beautiful watercolor insert card. Food safe glaze, dishwasher & microwave safe. Use caution as cup and straw get hot when filled with hot liquids. Allow to cool prior to using.

Pottery Crafting at its Best
This has to be one of the most amazing craftsmanship in terms of a cup of this kind. Glazing is beautifully layered in 2 tones and the ceramic base is visible towards the bottom. Although the cup does react to temperatures I found it easy to manage with the placement of my palm underneath the base. To the seller, I appreciate your professional and prompt messages as well as the care you took in packaging this item. Definitely will be buying another one soon to have a set. =)

Beautiful piece but it’s way too big
