Canon product designed to work with Canon specified batteries
It’s Canon, so works perfectly with my Canon Mach II batteries. Check your camera specifications and battery specifications. If still in doubt, ask your local camera retailer, they “should” be knowledgeable.

Battery charger is what it is
This is a genuine battery charger from Canon. I lost the one that came with my Canon camera and needed to purchase a replacement to charge the battery. Works as expected. Frustratingly expensive for what it is, but that’s on Canon. I wanted a genuine charger rather than an imitation that could stop working or damage the battery pack.

It's 2024 and I still have/use this one
I bought this in 2014 per my amazon purchase history. It's great, still works, I don't use my camera as often, I probably use this 8-10 times a year lately...but prior to 2020 I was using it countless of times.

Use Canon batteries
Canon batteries are far better than knock offs. I have a fellow professional photographer who tried to save a few bucks on off brand batteries and it damaged his camera body and cost a good bit for Canon to make the repairs. The chargers are made for the Canon batteries and assure they are well maintained.Only reason I am replacing a charger is I forgot I had one in a pants pocket when I ran the pants through the laundry. That killed it. But, happy to get the new one. I keep 4 chargers so I can do two cameras worth of batteries at once.
