The perfect fix
The blower fan on our 2008 Armada burned out. Bought the replacement blower and this control resistor as well.Fixed the issue.Super simple swap out.Well worth the money.I needed both the resistor and blower, you might only need one or the other; but for the price buy both just to be sure.

Fixed the variable fan speed for my 2006 QX56
My 2006 QX56 fan would only blow high speed when truned on. I discovered that the cause for this was the fan resistor. The cost to hire someone tp perform this repair was $250.00, and the part at the delearship was $60.00.

So far so good, the fan speed is slower than before
My 2008 Infiniti QX56's climate control fan was stuck on full blast, even when I push "OFF". Videos on Youtube showed me how to replace it, so I bought the fan resistor here and installed it myself. I had problem finding a socket size 6.5mm (or maybe 7.5mm) because all the sets I have or could borrow were in full integers: 5, 6, 7... no 0.5mm in between. I eventually got the defective one off and the new one in with an adjustable wrench, not the most easy thing to do, but I did it. Anyway, the new resistor worked, but the fan speed is noticeably lower than before. Before, at the lowest setting, I could feel the air coming out the vents. Now, at the lowest setting, I could barely feel any air. However, with the price I paid, I am not complaining.
