I was a little nervous since there wasn’t many reviews, and all my purchases are based off reviews. But I figured it’s hard to go wrong with cast iron items… it’s absolutely perfect, sort of a bohemian design, perfect for my glass teapot. And the little stub legs keep it from slipping, and isn’t wobbly (which was the only thing I could imagine could be wrong). And it’s cheaper than many other cast iron trivets out there!

This is a small trivet, but good enough for putting a warm skillet or pie pan on the table if needed. I think more than anything I like how pretty it is! It looks like a piece of art and it just happens to be usable.It is because it is so pretty that I think this would be giftable, but I also think a trivet is kind of a strange gift to give... I think if I got this for a gift, I would assume it was something just for decoration and then would be pleasantly surprised when I found out it was functional as well.

This will definitely protect your surfaces, especially with the protective feet on the bottom. The pattern is really pretty and, since it's made of solid metal, it'll last a lifetime.

I should have paid more attention on the size but the pictures they show are deceptive. It's pretty but so small. It's the size of a coaster for cups
