Good value. Working well.
Inexpensive quality

Best pair I ever bought.
They are sharp on ends, making it easy to cut a little spot close to other stems you don't want to cut.

Good for work
As a landscaper, I keep a few pairs in all the trucks. They work great for a while. I stopped buying more expensive higher end hand pruners as they’re small and tend to get lost easily. For the price, I’ll just replace these as needed.

Comfortable, great shears for indoor/outdoor use
I got these shears 1.5 years ago and have used them weekly on my indoor and balcony plants. The handles are comfortable and the safety mechanism is easy to use. It is not heavy. There are no signs of rust. I keep my stored indoors. It's a great, simple design. These are great for pruning plant stems up to a few mm thick. The thick/wide blades easily slice through stems on strawberries, caladium, woody fuchsia stems and mums. These are not as good for pruning very delicate plants in small spaces, such as maidenhair ferns which have many 1 mm stems in a small area. For that I would recommend pruners with symmetric and thinner blades.

She is beautiful, beyond words!...but will she hold up,..hang in there when it gets rough?
Crazy but I haven’t used the new shear even though I got “her” last fall. Ok nuts but feeling disloyal to my nothing wrong long time shear. Pure impulse I admit, wasn’t looking for a replacement! Was I totally happy with my old shear..well no..she can be dull not very sharp even slow to respond and worse a bit sticky..but not enough to complain. Damn Amazon making it so easy, so tempting...and the price, was impulse! Ridiculously low the price.Hmm...there something else though. Is JEOutdoors shears too pretty, too polished up....not real enough? Will it fade on the first sign of work or trouble? Yeah has a lot of curves, plenty of spring action...nothing to not like right? Wow blade sharp...too sharp? Will it cut ya with one miss step, not forgiving? Really the handles are too smooth, feels slippery ...can’t help but wonder is the feel real enough..can you hold on or will it take a lot of effort on your part?Yes I write this review in jest if you have doubts but it is true right now they just sit on the bench together, haven’t committed to a sweeping rave about the new shears yet..soon enough with spring gardening coming up though. However for the low price, it is nice to have something pretty and shiney to look at with my standbys. Pleased sofar with that, 4 stars. ; )

Does the job but much less rugged then my Fiskars.
These were much more delicate then I expected. I have a pair of Fiskars that are twice as rugged as this pair. I started using the Fiskars on branches of shrubs and it started wearing down. I still use it, but wanted a pair for flowers or smaller plants that needed a clean cut. I got these for a good price, so worth the price I paid. Always good to have a pair laying around if needed. If I was a more serious gardener, I would put a little more money into the shears.

Dr. G Medical Examiner uses garden tools for her autopsies
So I thought this may be a better choice for a poultry shears than the last two Ive had that broke while removing chicken backbone. I make roast chicken "spatch cocked" frequently, so I needed a reliable, easy to use set of shears to remove the backbone. My Wusthof shears didn't last a year (less than 25 uses). and I paid a significant amount for them. Dr. G uses a pair of gardener loppers to cut through human ribs to expose the chest cavity, so this seemed like it may do the trick, and for far less money than what I had.So far, so good!

If you fancy spending an afternoon in A&E go ahead
Bought these as replacement for my stolen tools. I was pleased with how lightweight yet sharp they were BUT...Beware, as a professional gardener who is using this sort of equipment all the time, yes they are lightweight, but there is no rubber grip on the handles which makes them slip in the hand. The first week I had them my friend sliced through her finger very badly. We laughed and called them 'danger snips'...how wrong we were. I'm now sitting in A&E having stabbed myself in the palm with them so deeply that I can't feel the tips of my two middle fingers. On examining the tool to try and find out why, we have noted that instead of the usual rounded/blunt tip found on horticultural secateurs, these are lethally sharp. Couple that with slippage on the handles, and these really are pretty dangerous. My colleague had ordered herself a pair but has now returned them unopened. I will be contacting the seller too.

Quality secateurs
After reading various reviews, I've bought this secateurs hoping for best. So glad that I did. These particular ones are comfortable to hold, they just kind of melt into my palm while pruning. The size is just right and my hands are not small. Good blade sharpness and they leave clean cuts on stems. So far I used these to prune roses, shrubs and perennials and they did great with going through up to 20mm in stem width. They also come with a spare spring, which is a bonus. They tick a lot of boxes in what I look for in prunning secateurs without a heavy price.

Nice light pair of secateurs
A nice pair of secateurs. Much lighter than our previous pair. My disabled husband can use these no problems as well. Cuts thicker rose stems easily as well as thinner ones. Very pleased
