Bought these for an outdoor concert this Summer. Worked great, did not get one bite.

I got these for my family's Puerto Vallarta trip a couple years ago. These bracelets work quite well. I used the bigger ones as anklets. We went zip-lining in the jungle and the two of us didn't receive any mosquito bites. I still use them whenever I go out and I know there will be mosquitoes (which is almost every day in the summer here in SoCal). I even pack a few when I go back east to visit family.The only downside (for some people, not me) is that the Lemongrass scent is STRONG. So be ready for that.A good tip: when they no longer have a strong scent, place them back in the original bag with a couple other bracelets and they'll be ready to go in a few hours.

I was in the backwoods of Maine during the summer with 3 teenage girls and grandmom. The only ones that ended up w bites were the ones not wearing the bracelets. Do recommend you wear one on each wrist and each ankle to maximize coverage if in infested areas (why only 4 stars). Little cumbersome to tie on your own as well. Would recommend for sure.

I really wanted to like these. They have a good form factor and even look okay. Unfortunately, they stink worse than many sprays and were beginning to cause a reaction on my wrists less than an hour into wearing one. I opted for tying one on to my daypack, but it wasn't great: other family members could still smell it a few feet away, but I don't think the mosquitos could (or maybe they just didn't care that much) as we all still got some bites.

Oh my gosh! These thing repel mosquitos like crazy. Not one bite all year. Changed them once a week.

I couldn't wear on my wrist - I am sensitive to smells and this had a strong chemical undertone

My daughter wore these at camp and these were the only repellent she used. They each lasted 5 days unless she went in the lake. Then it seemed to wear off faster. When she wore them she came home with no bites. The one week she forgot she was covered in bites from head to toe, with 8 bites on her face. She said she couldn't smell them and the braided leather looks like any other bracelet which the teenager appreciated.

I tried these bands instead of the Deet wipes I normally use when hiking. Put one on right hand and one on left ankle. Worked great. Impressive. I used the same two bands 4 times in the one week. Continued to work for each hike.
