Perfect and safe for pirates of all ages
It's soft enough to not hurt like real swords, buy firm enough to look real. Has a great paint on it too. Really durable. Went grear for my Halloween costume.

Captain Hook sword
I bought this for my boyfriend for a Captain Hook sword. I even went to the Halloween store by me to check out other options. This far exceeded anything else I have found!

Great for cosplay, not fighting!
This cutlass looks good and has some heft to it. It’s some type of foam, but fairly solid. Good look for cosplay, but don’t hit anyone with it!

Exciting and excellent
Bought this to go with a pirate costume. I wanted something that wouldn’t look cheap and would compliment the costume well. It was fantastic. It’s durable, lightweight and looks great for any pirate costume

Not for little kids
The description states it’s made of foam but does not mention there is a stiff wire about 8 inches from the sharp end of the sword to the inside. I bought this for my child’s play and since the curved tip is pointed (it came packaged with a piece of foam protecting the pointed end) I took scissors to round it out, only to find a wire inside. I didn’t have wire cutters strong enough to cut it and it was too thick for scissors, too firm to bend back and forth. I pulled it out with locking pliers and got it out! Now it’s safe for elementary kids.
