Great sound. Affordable.
I love the sound of these pick ups. They bring that classic telecaster twangy music sound. If you’re looking for that classic sound, these are the pick ups for you. They are not top-of-the-line, but provide good value for those on a budget.

Excellent pickups!
These pickups look and (more importantly) sound great. They were easy to install on my Squire Bullet Mustang, it’s now my new favorite guitar. I like switching between the warm tone of the neck pickup and the twangy sound of the bridge pickup. Extremely great value for the price.

They're GREEEAAAAAT!
Perfect for my kit Tele. My favorite single coil sound, neck and bridge.

I like these pups but......
These are nice pickups. Worth the money. However the ground wire was about 3 inches long. Either manufacturer or dealer to blame. I don't know. Maybe they were returned. Pups 5 Stars 🌟 Manufacturing 4 Stars 🌟

This is the upgrade you need.
Wow… I didn’t think I’d hear much difference when I replaced the pickups in my Squier Telecaster Standard Series, but I was wrong.Compared to these, the stock pickups sounded muddy and were not very clear. They sounded a bit dull and weak. These Tex Mex pickups completely changed that. The clarity is phenomenal. I can hear every string clearly. They are much hotter. The dynamics are much more articulated. And I can tell the frequency response is much wider. While I was at it, I replaced the pots and switch with some quality 250k pots and capacitor. NOW MY TONE CONTROL ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING!! I did a few other upgrades and now my cheap Squier Tele sounds comparable to an upper mid-grade Fender.I tried watching YouTube videos of people upgrading their pickups, but the sound really doesn’t translate on a YouTube video - you need to hear it and feel it coming out of your amp.

Wish I could give a rating of negative stars
I recently purchased the Fender TexMex pickup for my telecaster. These were made in Mexico and I selected these because I thought they would be of a better quality. I was wrong, these pickups are s**t. The Bridge pickup did not did properly fit. (Mexican made body) Both pickups have a plastic base and trying to use the adjustment screws required so much torque to thread it I stripped the screws head.I have been repairing and rebuilding guitars for over fifty years and only have problems when I purchased cheaper components. I expected more from FenderI have not tried the pickups to see if they work because I'm waiting on other parts. So stand by.Needless to say I am very disappointed with fender. Now understand why they are losing their market share .

perfect standard pickup for all occasions
i was just looking to get a basic tele sound that fit right in the middle. these pickups get you there and handle distortion and compression nicely. about the short ground wire on the bridge pickup; in the old days we use to wire the bridge ground wire to one of the bridge pickup screws. there wasnt a need to have it long, you can solder an extension to it if it bothers you lol.
