Easy way to mount two finders
I replaced the red dot on my dobsonian with a RACI scope to save myself from neck pain and wanted to use a green laser to make the initial movement, and RACI to fine tune. This bracket works perfectly to mount both, while still keeping clear of the focus tube.

Very handy for adding another finder in limited space
A handy accessory for adding one more finding device - such as a laser - to a scope with limited space for another finder-foot. A bit pricey IMO, but extremely well made and strong. Requires just a few moments and a Philips No. 2 screwdriver to put all the components together. Liked it so much I purchased several other ones. - S. Waldee, telescope user, Ivins, UT

Wrong Screws
Yep, can confirm the mounting bracket screws are too short and don't work. They don't even clear the bottom of the elevated bracket. I pulled two longer screws out of another piece of equipment and got lucky, not short only 2 screws. Will have to find those either in the shop or go to the store. Sturdy bracket and solid, but plan on getting your own screws to put it together.

Solid and well-made
I bought this to mount a finder scope and DSLR on a 5" Mak-Cas telescope. It is solid and works well. I use a separate clamp to attach the DSLR, and the mount doesn't move. I have always thought that the single screw on the Orion clamps is not enough security, but I haven't really had much trouble with things coming loose. The only problem I experienced was in alignment of the finder scope. I had to add a small shim to get the alignment close enough to align the finder scope with its adjustment screws. It would be nice to provide some way to adjust the direction of the bracket or of the feet that fit on top.

Best thing I bought for my telescope
Excellent!!! Just what I needed to combine my finder scope and laser finder in one unit. I have an Orion XT10I and this works perfectly for my needs. I did not want to sticky tape this on my telescope. Only issue is that I need to add counterweights to my dob as it tilts it forward. With the counterweight, it will be balanced. My friend saw this and he ordered one for his SCT telescope. if you want to have a finder scope and laser finder together, this is the mount to buy. Highly recommend it!!!

Works great.
This was fairly expensive at the time I bought it, but it was worth it. I was having a very hard time finding DSO's in my 6 inch Dobsonian. I used this to mount a red dot finder and a Correct Image Right Angle Finder. The two work very well together, and this was easy to mount. Just slid right on my Orion DOB. No holes to drill or things to mess with. Highly recommend. One warning. Always check the tightness on the mount before you move the telescope. Mine did come loose once and the whole mount crashed to the floor. Luckily, both finderscopes were not damaged, but you need to be aware of this.

Wish they had two screws each side - if possible to better lock down
I use it to mount my guide camera and sky sensor camera to my only remaining mount. Works well with no flexure. However, the jury is still out on the screw down locks - seems to have a little side to side play. Wish they had two screws each side - if possible to better lock down.

After imaging with it for a year I can say that this works great. No signs of wobble or flexure
While imaging I was often alternating between a conventional finder and an Orion Miniguider for autoguiding. This was inconvenient and time consuming. Then I found this and discovered I could keep both finder and guider on the scope through an entire evening without having to install a second shoe on all my scopes. After imaging with it for a year I can say that this works great. No signs of wobble or flexure. It's a convenience item that is almost a necessity.

nice & solid all-metal construction
Superb kit! Very well-built, nice & solid all-metal construction.Holds my RACI finder and RDF securely but I would advise making a small depression in the RACI finder plate - the finder is fairly heavy and having a notch for the fixing screw to fit into ( I used a good quality pointed screwdriver & braddle) just adds security when observing at zenith.Highly recommended holder - its solidity is worth the price!

Brilliant bit of Kit
A very robustly manufactured bit of kit. A little pricey but in terms of usefulness well worth it. It will allow me to have StarSense and a finder on my 10" SkyWatcher Skyliner at the same time, brilliant. Delivered in under Two days from California USA (Not the California a suburb of Aylesbury Bucks) fantastic service.

Unnecessarily heavy
This does the job well but it's a solid lump of steel and very heavy. I don't understand why it isn't made from aluminium.

Badly aligned
Initially the build quality looked good, nice and solid. However when it came to actually using the bracket the two mounts were so far out of alignment with the base that there wasn't enough adjustment in my finder to align it with the main scope (it aligned fine on the base by itself).
