Mine came with packaging opened so I sent them back.
I think they're good basic locks, would have loved having them come unopened.

NOT WEATHERPROOF
Not weatherproof. All three keys do not work in one lock. Weather cover leaks allowing locks to calcify. Waste of money.

Good in theory, but not good in winter
I purchased a set of these locks and use one on an outdoor shed. They seemed well built with a plastic cover over the keyhole. Things appeared fine until I tried to unlock my shed in the winter. Somehow water got under the cap and the ice expanded into the keyhole. I wasn’t able to unlock the lock because water was frozen in the chamber. I left the cap off so the water could thaw and drain when it warmed up. I checked today with weather in the 40’s and was able to open it, so at least it wasn’t damaged. I’ll keep the cap off going forward, which defeats the purpose of the weatherproof cap. Oh well. At least I don’t have to cut it off.

not great in cold
Got these for a winter trip through colorado in the winter. Had issues with other locks in the past. Though ahead and got some weather resistant locks ahead of time. Even cheated and filled the locks with white lithium grease. The locks were smooth. The rubber gaskets at the shackle fall off too easy and get lost. Then water gets in the lock and it freezes. Nice idea, works perfect, until you actually install and remove the locks in the wild. The other bit is the flap over the lock cylinder. Cold morning (0°F) and it just snapped off. There is a vent hole in the cover as well. Appears to be small enough to keep road grime out. The overall plastic coating burns easy when you put a torch to the lock to melt the ice that got in after the shackle gaskets fall off and get lost. Good try. Better than most. Still flawed

STRONG & SECURE
Needed strong and not easily penetrated locks for pool gates. This fits the latch and secures it so a key is needed to actually open it and cannot be easily broken off.

Coating makes shackle to large for some gates
Be careful buying these to lock fence gates. I have an aluminum fence and the locks that were on the gates are over a dozen years old and the key wasn't working so well anymore in them, so I bought these as I have three gates to lock. The problem is that the coating on the side of the shackle that fits into the lock flares out where the shackle goes into the lock, probably to prevent rain from running down the shackle into the mechanism, but that makes the shackle just a tiny bit to large to go through the hole on the gate latch that's there specifically for a lock shackle. If you buy these take into account that whatever the shackle goes through has to be larger than the shackle itself and must accommodate the flared end of the coating.

Are not weatherproof, need a torch to melt the ice inside them in winter use.
