Put these on my 2001 883 Sportster Custom and wow, what a difference they made in my ride. For this price, these are great grips. Amazing actually. They are well made, the rubber gel padding is not just glued on, but appear to be a solid piece under the metal cutout. Only one small issue I had was specific to my Sporty, is that the cable throttle control area of the grips are larger than my stock grips, and it is a tight fit under the cover. The cable throttle control area is so tight inside the throttle control cover that I have to manually push the throttle forward now (it won't return on it's own, and no it's not the cable adjustment, it's the size of the grip cable throttle control). This may not be an issue on other bikes, and honestly it sorta works as a constant cruise control (lol). Worth every penny. Ridiculously affordable. Only had them for a week, so can't say how well they will stand up to the test of time. BUT definitely recommend.

Not Bad with a little work..1. Too much glue in throttle side, was gobbed/pushed into the end, wouldn't slide all the way onto handle bar until cleaned out. .2. Grip slips(rotates) on tube - required regluing.Clean out(remove extra gobs a glue pushed into the end of the tube, and, pull the grip off the tube, reglue grip(neatly) with a little Liquid Nails and all ok! Will see how long they last ...*** Scratch that Liquid Nails - it slipped also! Use 3M Auto Weather Strip adhesive - Worked Great!

I bought these because I needed something cheap, and better than my old grips that had chrome peeling off them, very irritating when riding. I figured these would be made to a price, and I'm sure they are, but I didn't expect them to be as nice as they actually are. They look nice, and the rubber grips on them are surprisingly soft and comfortable. They were pretty easy to install. The left grip slid right into place without any glue or anything, and is sticky enough to stay put. A bit of grip glue (or hairspray if you're cheap and resourceful) would likely make it slide on even easier then stick it in place even better. I haven't found the need thus far though. The throttle side was a little more tricky. The throttle tube is integrated into the grip, so you'll need to disengage the cables from your old tube, then install the new tube/grip and attach the cables. The problem is the end of the grip that fits inside the throttle/switch housing and attaches to the cables is a bit larger than my old grips and the stock throttle tube. Only slightly, but enough to drag and prevent the throttle from returning to idle on it's own. I had to sand/file away some material to get a good clean fit without any friction. I also needed to enlarge the holes for the brass ferrules on the ends of the cables. Once everything was fitted nicely, they work great! As long as they don't deteriorate too quickly, I'd recommend them for the price. I half expect the rubber to break down quicker than some other grips, I mean, they had to cut corners somewhere to get the price this low right? lol Time will tell!

I accidentally broke my throttle tube while trying to get some old grips off, decided to take a chance on these since I could get them the next day with Amazon Prime. I've been nothing but pleased. My concern was that the rubber grip parts would be held on with adhesive but that fear was erased when I opened the package to find that the way these are built is like they start with a metal casing with the oblong holes cut out, then the silicone grip part is injected from the inside until it presses out. I don't actually know how they're produced so that's probably wrong, but what I mean to say is that the soft silicone grip pads you see on the outside are all a single piece that protrude through the metal casing from the inside, not individual pads held on with double sided tape or glue, so they're not coming off. It's a very soft silicone type of rubber, so combined with the surprising weight of the whole thing I get very minimal vibration transferred into my hands. So yes, what a surprise, this is actually a really great product.

They do not fit snug. They are threaded in the middle so as you pull tyhe throttle they can unscrew while riding and make it so you cant accelerate. The housing for the cvables is metal so the fitment on the housing is not great and causes metal on metal friction to pull throttle. Basically chinese garbage and do not buy these.

Had to modify them to fit the throttle ring because the cable area is really thick.Also that area is plastic not metal, was expecting metal.Otherwise, nice grips and feel great and sturdy.

*edit* The grips lasted about 2 months before they fell apart. Stay away. You get what you pay for. These grips aren't bad but the rubber pushes out of them and gets hung up on gloves. Other than that there's not much else to say about them. They are fairly comfortable and take away alot of the vibrations in your hands.

I dislike the product When i recieved it on the right side where the throttle cable go it was chew up badly an wouldn't hold cable Safety . I reach out for replacement an they change price of item an the order time was 3 weeks out from my previous order. Unfortunately i damage the original that came with the bike taking them off. So it lef me stuck an upset.

I am not a big fan of these because I find them too big in my hands and don’t feel that I have has good of control of my bike,but they look good,going to order something a little smaller

Customer service is great but they would not work on my handle bars without a lot of grinding to the inner section of the throttle tube. Tried on multiple different sets of 7/8 bars and the were not true

Love the feel. The throttle side was a little tighter and the left side we had to put tape on to get it to fit better. Other than that we love them.

bigger then expected rubber seems poor quality don't expect to last long

POOR QUALITY, I do not recommend it to any one unless you want to waist your money!! they went straight to the trash!
