Like many reviewers, I love capers in many different dishes but am frustrated by the tiny jars sold for $4 or so at supermarkets It's not so much the price that bothers me but the sense that these little babies are rare, thus the little-jar packaging.. My mind set is to use them generously and celebrate the flavor and goodness they add to so many dishes. And they are plentiful, not rare.That is why I was thrilled to find this offering. it arrived today, perfectly packaged and looking oh so good. I celebrated the abundance by using them feely on the fresh, sliced tomatoes I had along with a chicken pastie and American fries. And to be honest, capers just happened to get in with the fries. This was a caper meal and it was glorious. Every time I open the fridge, I see the big jar -- I think it is smiling at me.

Jar arrived packed with foam wrap. Fluid was leaking. Top with not screwed down tightly. Several capers were smashed against the glass threads and obviously no vacuum seal. Did I a mention no refunds or returns. I wish you better luck.

If you like small, firm capers, these are for you. If you're into big and soft, these are not for you.And while it's a very good price, Costco is cheaper last I saw.

I was concerned that a large jar of capers would not survive the trip to my house, but they were packed with such care that they arrived totally unscathed! Sad to say, I've had so many shipments of goods from other vendors that met with disaster that I am truly impressed by this seller. The capers, themselves, are lovely. Salty, but not too salty, without the bitterness I have encountered in capers from my local grocery. They are small, tender and full of flavor that isn't just salt. And tremendous value for the money. I only paid about three times what I pay for the little jars in my store for easily 10 times as many capers! Very happy, and I will order these again.

Pickled products are being recommended everywhere these days. Thought I'd give these a try based on the reviews and they were not wrong: great flavor, size, and texture. (And the value can't be beat!)You cannot make lemon chicken without these! Or just squeeze fresh lemon over a serving of rotisserie or roasted chicken and sprinkle on a dozen or so of these. I also add a liberal amount of them to tuna salad, mixed in with cumin, chili, mustard, mayo, a little pinch of sea salt and a bit of eucalyptus honey: perfection! Try it! Definitely would recommend this product to family and friends and will buy it again.

These are my favorite capers because they are large enough to taste, and there are enough of them that I don't feel I have to skimp. They are hard to find locally, so I'm glad I could get them here. I was a bit concerned about shipping a glass jar, but it was well packed, so no issues. So much better than those tiny things they have at the grocery store.

Excellent value, many times more compared to cost for tiny bottles. The large quantity affords the ease of using however much you might wish, exactly opposite the tiny overpriced bottle of capers. Superbly packaged by the seller, also! Most commendable. 5-Star rated definitely.

what a mess. Liquid ruined two boxes of crackers and soaked the shipping box. box arrived in a plastic bag. Lid on jar was off, capers all over the box. Dang! I was looking forward to using these!
