I purchased this for the sole purpose of using it as a silencer for my exhaust because it was ridiculously loud after straight piping it due to the muffler rotting out. Works great for my purposes. Went with the chrome since my truck has other chrome accents, after about 4 days of driving its already looking closer to a bronze color from the heat. My pipe is 2 3/4 so couldnt use the clips that came with it but was able to use 2 of the bolts to get a good tight fit and used some muffler putty to seal it... Overall im happy with it

. . . . I hope the perforated, closed-end doesn't restrict too much and cause excessive back pressure. I don't think the valves will like that much. It's diameter is big enough and I think the holes are sufficient to breathe OK.

It’s nice to look at but after a week or so started to rust and look bad so it was good to keep for a week.

Installation: As long as your tailpipe is within listed spec, this tailpipe tip should fit fine. My tailpipe is on the larger end for the listed fitment, but this tip still fit. Staying in place: If installed properly, you'll have no issue with this tip moving or falling off. Long-term durability: I've now had this tip in place for a little over 3 months, and it still looks good, and isn't rusting. 4 stars

I have been working on blacking out my accents on my new - used F-150 and this cover worked out perfectly.. Note I did think it was chrome based on the title but it showed black so I proceeded. I did have to work to get it to fit as it was pretty tight but it was not a big deal. Pros: 1. It looks awesome 2. Shipped fast Cons: 1. A little tight to fit
