I like that this piece doesn't fall apart the way cardboard scratches do. I didn't mount it to the wall, just put it on the floor by the toys and he's happy to scratch!

One of our cats has a bad habit of scratching at the window screens when we have to have our windows open in the summer (no A/C). In order to dissuade her from doing so, we purchased this scratching pad and set it up close to one of her favorite windows. She still hasn't completely stopped the bad behavior, but it's been cut down by about 85%, at least. All the cats love it, in general, too. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I love these, but I'm not going to lie. I don't have a good sense of how big things are, even looking at dimensions, because everything under 2' doesn't mean much to me. They look nice and seem pretty durable so far, but I just wish they were a little bigger.

I bought this for my cat a year ago and as you can see from the picture, it is well worn. He uses it all the time and I don’t have any problems with him scratching on any other furniture. I am getting ready to buy him a new one.

Put it up and the cats stopped scratching on that area. Lol.

Put it up on the wall and she loves it, uses it every day

I only put one on the wall for about three days with 3M strips and the whole front came off. Only one cat used it a few times before it fell apart.

Welp. It’s a good idea. It’s sturdy on my wall, and it looks good. But my cats don’t ever use it. Like, not once have I seen them even acknowledge its presence.I’m sure other, more grateful kitties would enjoy this thing. And I have had this discussion with my cats. How lucky they are to have nice things, and how other cats don’t have a place on the wall to scratch and call their own.To which my cats turn around and walk away leaving me talking to an empty room.I need a life.
