Watching the first video from the seller on how to cut the watermelon was extremely helpful. This kitchen tool works great but about half of the cut watermelon pieces were smaller odd shaped bits and not the nice square cubes like they show you in the advertisement but I'm still really happy with the results. I used it on a round watermelon and I had the whole thing cut up into bite size pieces in 5 minutes and it was a lot less messier and easier to cut up with this tool than the old fashioned way. This tool is worth buying.

Was so very hopeful for this. I can eat a whole watermelon a week and the thought of making prep time that much easier caught my attention.The product video looks like they are using a personal size watermelon. I never purchase those so can't comment to that size.The handle isn't user/ergo friendly, hands start to get sore pretty quick. Couldn't get it to go through the watermelon in one swoop. Maybe I'm cutting too far into it, but shouldn't I be able to do that? I ended up having to slice up and down to get it to go through the watermelon, which ended up making shredded pieces. Once you dump it all out, there's a lot left uncut. At that point you have to cut it down anyway. Just a huge waste of time for me.I'll go back to a big knife to make the big cuts and a smaller knife to cube up the watermelon.

I am so jazzed about this gadget. And also bummed that I didn’t get one sooner!! So simple and easy to use. I cut my watermelon in 5 minutes with nicely even cubes. Like…how is that even possible?? Def recommend!!

The size seemed a little small, and because of the pulling on the fruit, it seemed to extract a lot more juice than if cutting by hand. It is well made and easy to clean.

This item is not easy to use because it hurt the hands and doesn't do very good job cutting.

My daughter and I love watermelon. Cutting a watermelon used to be a daunting task. With this gadget it was quick and easy!

This product does not work in any manner like the video portrays. Hard to handle, and mangles the melon! It is utterly worthless … I what’s going to send it back for a refund. But it’s not even worth my time. It belongs in the garbage.

I bought this tool to ensure even-sized pieces for dehydrating. The part that cuts is not sharp enough to easily cut through the watermelon while controlling the cuts sufficiently. It takes too much strength and the result was cubes of many different sizes. If you do not care about the cube sizes you will still find the tool to be unwieldy.

This watermelon cutter is the best and easiest watermelon cutting tool I have ever made! It has changed the way I cut watermelons, and I will never cut my hands again. I saw its video when I bought the watermelon knife, and it immediately attracted me. I have never seen such a way to cut watermelon. Because I like to eat watermelons, I buy a lot of watermelons every summer. But every time I cut the watermelon, I make a mess. I will make the tabletop very dirty, watermelon juice is everywhere! I even cut into my hands. So I haven't eaten watermelon for a while. Until I bought this watermelon knife, I started eating watermelon every day.I learned to operate like video. First cut the watermelon in half. Second I inserted the watermelon knife vertically into the edge of the watermelon, first cut it vertically, then cut it horizontally, I got a lot of watermelon pieces, which is really amazing. I bought a watermelon cutter + 2 forks, so I can eat it directly with a fork after I cut it.Some comments say that it breaks easily, and I have no problem with it. When I hold it in my hand, I think this watermelon cutter is very hard. You don't need to poke this into the skin of the melon. It just slides over it.

This slicer needs to be re-engineered.The so called handle is not a handle at all. It needs to be padded and re-angled.It doesn’t give you the proper leverage to comfortably slice through the watermelon.The cutting edge is so dull that you end up cutting imperfect cubes. This tool hurts your hand because the part you’re holding digs in to your hands. So trying to cut smoothly and in a straight line is not easy. You end up not being able to keep the tool fully submerged while pulling through to the other side.If they put a proper handle on this, it would be much easier to use.

Only good with water melon....was hopping it be good for any melons....but great tool for water melon....
