Seachem Laboratories 6520 Tidal 75/120V/60 Hz Replacement Pump

I bought this Tidal 75 pump to replace the worn-out pump in my Seachem 75 Tidal Filter. I got about three years out of the filter and pump, which run 24/7. I got decent service out the original filter and pump. If your pump goes on the fritz, I can recommend this one without reservation. No need to buy a new filter.

I bought this as a replacement for one I accidentally broke while cleaning my tank in my office. This product worked for fine for about a month and then started getting louder and louder to the point that people on the other end of the phone complain about the noise. I have to put throw pillows and blankets around it to drown out the noise, but I’m afraid it will potentially start a fire. Very disappointed.
