Works as expected
I'm a professional musician and have some gigs coming up where I have to use in-ear monitors. I also use them on my phone when I take walks. The GR07s do provide a good amount of isolation. The sound quality is very good, though as with all in-ear speakers you may have to fiddle with how far you put them in your ears to get the sound you want. The reviews I read in advance warned of excessive sibilance during the burn-in period, and they were pretty zingy at first. But they seem to be calming down now, after 10-15 hours of use. They're comfortable to wear, have minimal mechanical noise (from the wires rubbing against things as you move), and also have detachable cables, so you can replace them if desired. I may do that since I'd like a longer length because of my current stage setup. Also, you never know when a cat might chew on them or they get yanked in a bad way in transport. All in all, professional-quality IEMs for a very reasonable price.

Decent, that's all
Used these for about a year and a half. I have nothing to fault against them sound wise but nothing really stood out either, overall a solid choice for the low price but if you have a bit more to spend there are better options.I stopped using them after a year and a half because I came home and found that the left hand side suddenly stopped working at all. They had not been damaged or dropped and were not in use or anything, just suddenly BAM dead. The physical construction felt cheap, especially the plastic shell. The cable is nicely designed, I thought it wasn't detachable for a long time but turns out you just have to REALLY pull on it. Came with a nice little velvety / felty carrying case and a number of standard silicone tips.Comfortable to wear however a number of downsides there. The come with little silicone slip-on over ear holders that are not designed well, the cable comes out of them constantly and eventually one fell off while I was out walking and I lost it. The part that goes into your ear canal is a ball joint that rotates freely, this quickly started moving too freely and became weird and awkward with the buds flopping all over the place.

Low-end sound profile but not great build quality
My opinion is that the sound is quite average for it's price point, but the build quality is definitely on the weaker side compared to other earphones. From daily wear and tear these do not really stand up to well, so be mind ful of that. My cables started deteriorating very quickly from bringing on my daily commutes.

Poor sound quality and no bass.
I'm stunned how low quality the sound coming out of these is. I have tried a bunch of earbuds over the years and these are easily the worst, comparing only to sub $10 pairs. You could get a way better pair for half the price.

Love these in combination with a DragonFly Black
I was super bummed out at first when I plugged these into my iphone 7 using the standard lightning to 1/8" cable. The mids were annoyingly recessed, there was more sibilance than I can tolerate, and the bass was way too forward. Then I plugged them into an AudioQuest DragonFly Black and... magic. Wow, what a difference. Relatively flat with nice deep extension and a little sizzle up top. I highly recommend the combo!Update, after spending a little more time with these. They scale really well to nicer equipment (they sound amazing with a Chord Mojo), and keep up with much more expensive over-ears as far as overall sound quality. I have had some comfort issues and because of that I would give them a 4.5 star rating if that were possible.

On pure sound these are great, they blow away the Etymotic HF5 I've had ...
So far these are extremely impressive. My biggest gripe with these mid-low range IEMs is always durability though, so I will update in a few months to see if there are any issues. On pure sound these are great, they blow away the Etymotic HF5 I've had in the past and are much more comfortable than my Dunu IEMs that these replaced. So far the cables seem fine, though I can't figure out how to detach the monitors from the cable if I ever need to replace.Update- After a year these are still going strong with no durability issues to speak of.

The spacial separation and the sound range is better than any headphones I have tried
This is my replacement for a lost pair. I zeroed in on this product after seeing audiophile forums. The spacial separation and the sound range is better than any headphones I have tried. My other earphones: Sennheiser HD598 / ultimate ears

Burn-in these headphoens for at least 48 hours before you can really hear its true sound, but than, WOW
Disclaimer: Burn these headphones in for at least 48 hours before you can really hear its true sounds.I bought these after my old MK1 GR07 finally died on me. These 2017 version have far more control over its sound and bass. Even if its says "bass edition" the bass difference is very minimal from my MK1 or any gr07. The drivers are just slightly tuned to a lower frequency response enhance more "bass" fell.
