Great product! Easy to use and works just how it should. You will need a timer to plug the lights into, but other than that it will get plants going strong. In the photos I have pepper seeds and everyone knows how long it takes for pepper seeds to sprout. This is 1 week after I planted them. Which is insane! On some of my other pepper seeds it took between 2 to 3 weeks. It is a good buy and I will most likely buy more of this product. It is a must have!UPDATE: I had to come back and update this initial review. I went from one of these grow lights, to 6. That 5 more than what I initially started as. Mainly because when I transplant I fit less pots underneath the grow light, but I can raise it with the stand. It's worked so well i might just buy more. Yes the stand is a bit flimsy, but it works and it holds the light up to a perfect level so who really cares? The plants are growing fast and I'm happy. Great product. Keep producing more! Well done!

I bought this light after my aerogarden harvest impressed me so much. I have quite a few plants and cacti I usually sit in the window. I mounted the 45w light panel under a kitchen cabinet. And then moved all my green friends under the light.I have too many plants under it to list specifics. But they are all thriving, growing and even healing. I no longer move them back and forth from the windows. Which is so nice, one less chore. They sit under the light for 15 hours a day; thriving and making my kitchen look happy. Love Aerogarden

I set the grow lamp up in a wifi enabled fixture to turn it on and off with the sun. Gives my indoor plants seasonal light cycles.

This gro-light is what I was looking for to grow succulents in my living room. It is very nice looking, made of shiny black plastic. I also bought a bamboo tray to hold the pots and it looks great under the grow lights. I also like the idea that the light can be moved up and down easily.Now the cons: 1. the stand is wobbly. Lucky for me it fits perfectly between our flat screen tv and the fire screen in front of our gas fireplace. The small stand it is sitting on is exactly 24" wide and the feet of the light stand fits right to the edge of the stand. If the tv and the fireplace screen were not there I would worry about it slipping off.2. There is no on and off switch. You have to unplug it to turn it off. Fortunately it is plugged into a power strip that rests on the chest the tv sits on so it is easy to reach to unplug. If I had to plug it into the wall I'd be very upset.3. There is no dimmer feature so I guess one would raise or lower the light to control the brightness--not the best idea.Overall, the light is a little pricey for the limitations it has and lack of features. I wanted something pretty for the living room and it fits that desire. I didn't want something that looked industrial and would need to hang from the ceiling (although a hanging system comes with the product too) so for me, this product will serve my needs.

I started with an AeroGarden hydroponic unit as a pandemic project. This quickly expanded to many soil plantings and many other indoor grow lights. I have tried SEVERAL brands of lights, but none come close to AeroGarden when it comes to fruiting plants. The difference in leaf growth is incomparable! This unit is great - easy to set up, and much better without an attached timing device!! The power at my place goes out pretty often. If I am away and power goes out, (attached) automatic timers will stay off. This way, I have a timer (bought separately) at the plug with a back-up battery in case of outages, and it works perfectly!

No on and off switch that would be a nice feature. Plug gets super hot.

Easy to assemble light that seems to be encouraging growth on my seedlings. It is made out of light weight plastic. But the base does it job well!!! The heat mat is perfect, creating nice warm soil that supports germination. I've had excellent success in sprouting seeds and am looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow into adults!!! I wish the plugs weren't made of plastic though and linked all together. You can not separate them easily. You have to deal with a large tray the holds 72 plugs. Also, made out of unrecyclable plastic. It's another poor choice of single use plastic-- which unfortunately seems to be the horrible standred. Boo! It defeats having a green thumb just to have the plastic end up in the land fill. I wish the tray that holds water + plug tray were made from environmentally friendly material. Or at least recycled rubber. Or something that made an effort to be conscious of materials and the impact on the environment. It's the lack of concern about creating a single use plastic-- product that inspired me to give an over all resting of three stars. I know, I know, I bought it too! Nearly impossible to find growing kits like these that aren't plastic. I will be donating the plug tray to a local professional grower.On another note: Since the plugs are tiny I opted to purchase a set of biodegradable bags and use these to grow my seeds. It's easier to move seedlings around when they're individually planted. Plus, it's less shock for them to be planted because I don't have to try and get them out of such tight accomodations. They can sprout, grow and develop all in one space too which saves me a step in needing to up plant. Now the only thing I need is more land to plant!!!

I bought my wife a hydro garden from this company several years ago. She has bumper crops of herbs year round. I saw this recently, and we decided to get 2 of them for growing some pineapples and some of our orchids. So far, they look good. I'll update in a few months if they go bad. I used the hanging wire that comes with it for one, and the legs for the other one.

Great lights to give your plants some extra help during the winter months. They work well, but are quite a spotlight style light. Work great for ferns etc if you can get them high enough off them. These plants were all 6” or so in size 6 months ago so they definitely grow plants. But as mentioned above, wait for price drops or they’re very expensive. I paid about $12 for mine. Definitely not worth full price. They are not Chinese junk however, and as a result stay nice and cool with no heat issues at all so maybe that’s worth extra? Either way deserve a five star rating imo.

Amazing light. I have tried others but these are the real deal. I have purchased 3 of these and 2 -12watt. They have no heat from the lights. The heat sink gets warm to touch but will not burn. Can't go wrong.

I love my aerogarden and have had it for years. I live in a relatively dark house with little full-light areas. So as you can imagine I was delighted to see a bulb option from Aerogarden...it meant I could have house plants again. Unfortunately there seems to be something wrong with their manufacturing. I am on my second replacement (I have had three bulbs in total) and they all only seem to last two months before becoming incredibly dime and no longer provide light to the plants. I want them to work, but they just don't. So disappointed.

Haven't been using this long enough to speak to plant growth, but I bought this for a botanist and she was very happy to receive it. It's surprisingly large, the box looks nice, and it appears to be of great quality. My only complaint (which is entirely my own oversight) is how PURPLE the light is. During a party we have these things in our floodlights for the vibe and the plants boogie it up, but otherwise we have had to purchase some extra lamps so we can turn them off as they spread purple light all over the living room. Not a fault of the product, just something to be aware of when purchasing.
