These TomorrowSeeds - Super Sweet Candy Onion Sets (Starter Bulbs) Vidalia Type Noon Day Yellow onion bulbs were a very good buy and the onions got big and taste great- in raised bed growing boxes. This is the only way to grow onions (from bulbs) - but I have grown them from seed and that just took a lot longer. Good bulbs at a good price! Great find!

They were delivered to my mailbox so they were baked. Some of them were OK so I planted them and they are coming up

Most of these bulbs were dry and small. Of the 16 normal sized ones some were dry on the outside and mushy on the inside. I will plant the 16 since since they must be planted soon. I'll revize my opinion of those 16 if they perform better than expected.I tried to order candy onions in the fall but was told I should wait and order them in late July. This may not have been the vendor giving that advice, but as it was given by a reputable grower I patiently waited.
