A great value for a steamer
We're trying to eat more veggies so what better way to cook them. Fresh veggies cook to whatever texture desired. For me this is a great size, although some may want to go bigger depending on your needs. Construction and quality are good. It's easy to clean. Sometimes I get some spotting on the bottom boiler, but a little white vinegar and they are gone. Overall for the price and quality, I am happy. Can you go up a few notches? Yes, but this works great for me and I suspect this will last many-many years.

I bought this to steam veggies and it doesn't disappoint. Has a heavy solid base and seems to heat evenly. Handles stay heat resistant to avoid burns. The lid vent is necessary for safety, it is there for a reason, you can still steam and boil water no problem. Don't waste your money on something more expensive, this does what you want on a good budget. I spent a lot of time looking for the right one and this was the one I chose. Easy to clean by hand or machine. No complaints.

Love it! Makes steaming vegetables a breeze
This really makes steaming lots of vegetables easy and fast. I have used twice so far and love it. The first time I just used one tray and mixed potato, carrots, onions and broccoli. I'm a steaming novice so of course by the time the potatoes and carrots were perfect the others were too soft. Second time I made twice as much and put the longer items on for about 10 minutes before adding the second tray on top for another 10 and everything was perfect. Cleanup is just a rinse for all items. I am on a pretty vegetable focused diet and one of the key parts is having ready food on hand all the time and making cooking fast and easy.. mission accomplished.
