Sculpting and Handbuilding

I had reviewed this book when on loan from my clay instructor. As an artist I found it unlike some other ceramic texts as the author spoke often about the diverse directions of clay works , than the how to's of clay process. Both being valuable , it was easy to see my own practices reflected here. Nicely done in my mind.

Really useful book with lots of pictures demonstrating techniques for hand building. Took this to a workshop for young people and they found it really inspiring. This book was definitely a hit with them.

This book was disappointing in the sense that the "how to" part was very elemenatry while the images and artists presented were advanced. I had hoped to learn more about how the pieces were made.
