To close the knife, you need to push the liner lock to the left and close it manually.

Does the knife lock into position when opened?

I've bought this twice. It is supposed to lock, but the metal bit that should pop out isn't far enough to stop the blade from folding when open. Design defect? So no. Gotta keep fingers clear of it when open.

After opening the knife, there is a small metal piece behind the blade where the knife goes back in. Push down on that metal piece and close the blade.
