So good that I’m repurchasing it.
I really enjoyed Sushi Chef Pickled Ginger. The flavor is clean and refreshing with a mild sweetness and gentle acidity that doesn’t overpower your food. The texture is soft but still has a slight bite, and it pairs beautifully with sushi, poke bowls, and even rice dishes. It tastes authentic and high-quality, much better than some overly sugary brands. I’ll definitely keep this stocked in my fridge.

This one!
This is exactly like restaurant quality. Excellent taste. Not a bunch of junk in recipe either. Yum

Only brand that doesn’t contain aspartame!
I only use Sushi Chef brand ginger because it’s the only brand I’ve e found that does not contain aspartame. I hate artificial sweeteners and never consume it. This contains sugar, no artificial sweetener, it’s not too sweet, it’s crunchy and spicy. Unfortunately, I can’t find it locally so, I either have to drive over two hours to the nearest Asian market or pay more on Amazon. Someone really needs to open an Asian market in north Georgia! I highly recommend this brand, especially if you have an aversion to artificial rat poison sweeteners.

Tastes delicious! Perfect mixture of acidic and sweet.
I've been eating Gari with sushi for decades now. I go out for quality sushi at least once a week (one of the few good things about living in California). I would always have to pay for extra picked ginger, and high quality Gari is expensive when you want extra for your order, which I do. I've decided to try this parricular pickled ginger and I'm pleasantly surprised.Right away, I knew it was great stuff- the ginger isn't harsh and doesn't hit you in the face and same for the acid level. The sweet and the acidic mix perfectly.I'll be saving money and eating more ginger!

Seal broken, not edible.
Seal was broken on jar, liquid leaked out.

Great for sushi
We get take out sushi and lately they have fairly light on the pickled ginger and wasabi. This pickled ginger is very good and great replacement (or supplement) to the restaurant provided condiments.

Finally, pickled Ginger without aspartame!
I have tried to get pickled ginger, but almost everything comes with aspartame in it and tastes very bad. I finally had to look on line and was not disappointed. Wish it wasn't so expensive because I can go through it quickly. I eat it with everything, not just sushi. Yummmm!
