AWESOME!!!
I got this for a Telecaster build that I wanted to have that vintage look. I couldn't be more happy. It was easy to apply, dries quick, the nozzle is easy to use and sprays a great pattern, and it looks awesome. Would buy again for a future build. A+.

Perfect color for a sunburst imo and if anyone is wondering the color tone vintage amber concentrate is really close to this color also

This stuff is great but very fragile
Shipping took WAY too long. Price is about the same as the total with shipping direct from Stew Mac. Product is fantastic. I’d say its as good or better than Minwax brushing laquer in aerosol. In particular, this has the aged look. It can be layered enough to get a very dark look or it can be very light. The qty in the can is also a proper amount. It sprays very well until you get close to the end of the can, then it does start to spatter a bit but if you just shake it very well, you can get pretty close to every last drop. Obviously you want to make sure you have another can to continue the process.

Decent lacquer mmm
Great laquer - really beautiful color, good coverage, but towards the end of the can you can get spattering. Overall, a decent product.

It worked!
This can of lacquer worked out fantastic. $1000 dollar lacquer job for $29 dollars.Put the can in hot water for 4/5 minutes between coats - one light ‘tack’ coat, then five coats waiting an hour between coats hitting every area twice. Can’t say enough. Thanks.

If you’re doing vintage guitar builds, then this is what you want!
If you’re looking at this product to refinish an older guitar or you’re looking to “relic” a modern player, well, look no further. I bought this to hopefully match a “classic vibe” Squier neck that I was using on a custom built “Tele.” The neck felt great & had that vintage look I wanted, but I wanted it for one of a few boutique Telecaster builds I was working on. Took some tries to sand & match the original finish & I’m still dialing it in, but it gives a pretty close match to the rest of the neck. Hoping to have that build done soon.Well, my desire to be a boutique Tele builder grew faster than expected & I picked up a MIM Tele that needed a lot of work. It had a bad blister in the nitro on the backside, so I decided to “relic” it since the blister was worse than anticipated. Sanded in some wear marks, cleaned up the blister with sanding, & decided to use the rattle can to age it. Sprayed it on my fingers (with a surgical glove) & gently rubbed it onto the sanded parts. Results?! It aged the recently “relic” wood, brought out the grain, & is looking perfectly aged to match the factory Fender vintage neck! It’s gorgeous!Very impressed & plan to use it more while building my custom “Whiskey Workshop Guitars.”Plus, I looked to order first from Stewmac, then saw reviews that said it showed up fast from the Amazons. Rolled the dice (it was a few bucks cheaper on Amazon) & it showed up a few days later even though the expected date was a couple of weeks later.I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this product! When I get my builds completed in the next few weeks, I will launch Whiskey Workshop Guitars on the Facebook & you can see the results for yourself. For now, you just gotta take my word.

If You Are Going To Spray, This Is Your Best Option
Refinished a guitar headstock with this, probably the best nitrocellulose canned product available. Pricey at $30 + per can, but it's not too hard to get good results if you work the can correctly. Shake frequently and thoroughly, and clear the spray head frequently.
