No issues using this device. Love that all cables are on the same side, compared to many of these types of devices where the inputs are on one side, and the output is on the opposite side. Having the cables on the same side is much better for cable management and how it looks on the desk.

I initially gave this a 3 star because it appeared to be having audio dropouts but I discovered yesterday that those were due to the PC I'm putting through it switching audio drivers internally between analog speaker output and digital sound to the HDMI & DisplayPort video outputs. I changed sound settings on the PC. I have ordered an embedder to take audio from an analog distribution amp and put it onto the digital video outputs so that the PC will not have to switch drivers when I select it on the matrix switch. I suspect this has been a problem for many others trying to break in a new matrix switch with a PC or two as the sources. I have two of these switchers now and can recommend them. Just make sure the PC output is set up to work correctly with matrix switch signal distribution. I would give it 5 stars except for the manual that is either AI written or done by someone who barely speaks English, but that is quite common with these products.

If you do your research, and if a product meets your criteria, then the only other factor is whether that product works as expected. This product does.

I needed this as an output switch so I can change between watching on my tv and projector without messing with cables. There's tons of bidirectional HDMI splitters out there, but this is the only one with all the right features.It passes CEC signals, so your console can still wake your tv when it turns on, which is something I couldn't find on any other splitter in this price range.For my use, I also consider it a good thing that it can only output to one port at a time. If I'm using the tv, I don't want signal going to the projector and vice versa. Most bidirectional switches split between both outputs simultaneously.Also, the button is an actual electromechanical switch instead of some momentary input on a microcontroller. It can never "forget" which input/output you selected because it's physically in position 1 or position 2.It's simple, it's well priced, it does exactly what it needs to.

This works great for our setup for the first couple of weeks but then no longer outputs on both screens. Frequent dropout turn into not able to work at all. I got a replacement hoping I just got a bad one, but it just did the same thing as the first one. Poor quality parts with low reliability.

This little device worked well. And lights up when connecting one's HDMI cables.

I have a 4k tv in our living room and a 1080p monitor in our kitchen - mirroring video - this worked for my mixed resolutions. TV is displaying 4k without issue - apple TV sees it all as 4k - chroma - blah blah blah. in short - it works. Only had for a day so no clue about longevity.Edit: finding that not all video sources are able to be transmitted through. I have a 4k tv and a 1080p tv both connected. Using dip setting 1110 which is supposed to support a mix - not all my Apple TV apps will work. The Apple TV / Plex/youtube all fine - Netflix/disney/max won’t display on the 1080p tv. Big bummer. I can’t find the manual to troubleshoot so kinda frustrated.

Works with very exotic chains of adapters and display sources, including 1440p 120Hz from the RetroTINK-4K. Easily outperforms similar products at twice the price. Combining an HDMI switch, splitter, and audio extractor in one saves space and somehow it doesn't even require USB-C power to work?

Hello, I'm the bringer of bad news today.I got it delivered today, put batteries in the remote and the remote is not working at all, the LED doesn't light up as if there was no batteries.Worse than that, the downscaler feature to have different features doesn't work. I have a 2560x1080 monitor and a 1920x1080 monitor. In mode 15 I have black bars on top and bottom of the 2560 one and in mode 16 the 2560 displays correctly but the 1980 one gets the 2560 resolution shrunk in width to fit in the monitor which messes up the proportion of the image on that monitor (making squares look like rectangles etc).Also I can't activate the extend mode on windows. When I try to press the windows key + P and click on the extend option nothing happens. when I right click on my desktop and select display settings I don't get what I should get if the computer was detecting that I had 2 screens, it in fact only detects the screen of output A and treats both screens as output A's.This is really disapointing. I had great hope in this and hope that I can find some technical support to find out and fix the issues if it is possible. I can live with no remote but the two other issues are critical.

Works well, suits our use case where we need to connect 4 HDMI inputs to either or both of 2 display devices and feed audio via optical output to our theatre system.
