Excellent Value!
The bar is heavy duty and provides exceptional value for the price. Pros: very sturdy, nice clean finish (no burrs or scratches), maximal hand-grip variations for such a simple design. Cons: package arrived a little banged up. The plastic end caps sustained some impact and were slightly deformed off-center. The rounded edges of the provided hardware look like strip city. This second part is only applicable if you have drywall. This bar isn’t advertised for drywall, and I’m sure they probably don’t recommend it. But I’ll provide a quick summary of my little DIY project if anyone is interested:I bolted the bar to a hardwood board with T-nuts threaded through the back side (like a rock climbing wall). The benefit of this is added strength and the ability to easily mount/ dismount the bar without having to back out of the studs each time. The holes are ~14.5” apart so mounting directly to 16” studs probably isn’t an option regardless. The dock cleat is just a redundant, yet visually pleasing way to anchor resistance bands and suspension straps. I plan to mount this to the wall with four GRK screws going into studs. Overall very satisfied with how this turned out.

Perfect doorway bar
Very heavy duty . Made for a doorway so it does not need to stick far out from the wall. Designed to screw in to the thick wood header inside the drywall over the top of the door . Building codes require weight bearing walls to have weight bearing doors . That means two 2 x 6 “ or 2 x 8 “ sandwiched boards ( door header ) form the top of the doorway frame inside the drywall . 3 1/2 “ long x 5/8 “ thick lag bolts with small washers fit the plate holes perfectly and were long enough taking 1/2 “ drywall into account. The plate holes on this bar are meant for the doorway frame header , not spaced 16 “ for wall studs. Other pull-up bars would be better for wall mounting , but none stronger than this doorway mounted bar ( note walls and doors added after the house was built on may not be weight bearing ) . Again super heavy duty but also beautifully welded and finished . Multiple grip positions. Large but not in the way since a doorway bar can be closer to the wall and you can hang in the open doorway . Meets and exceeds all my expectations .

Sturdy
Sturdy frame. Would easily install into a wood wall, harder with plaster walls. Grip is a bit tough for someone with softer or weaker hands, so I highly recommend some gloves if you fall into that category. It’s a great value for the money, giving multiple grips, and also being great for stretching as well as using bands with the attached carabiners. Overall a purchase I don’t yet regret adding to my workout routine.

Solid
Really solid pull up bar that mounts above a door frame. Perfect for not damaging a door frame like the non-permanent ones do. Easy to assemble and comes with all required materials.

Happy with the product
I’ve been exercising consistently for about 40 years, so I feel more discerning about exercise equipment.I was happy with the design and sturdy construction of this bar, with multiple options for hand placement. I mounted it to an exercise cage.

Needs a solid mount
I bought this bar because I like the possibility of all the different pullup variations as opposed to just a standard straight bar. It's fun to be able to change your workouts around and keep things interesting. The bar seems well built and has a nice solid feel to it, however I would just say think about how you're going to mount it. I put mine on a 2x6 bolted between two 4x4 posts but because of how the bar sticks out from the wall it creates a lot of torque and causes the 2x6 to twist slightly. If I had to do it again I'd probably double up the 2x6. You may not have the same issue mounting straight to a wall but you'll still need some kind of backer since the mounting holes do not line up with 16" studs. Also the top row of holes are placed behind the bar such that it's difficult to get at them with an impact driver. You may have to use a swivel or ratchet to get at them.

Sturdy and well made
Great product, no worries of it falling or breaking. The knobs are an added difficulty that I'm working up to.

Solid bar
I think the installation is pretty much straight forward though. I didnt even read the instruction but can share some tips for the buyer. First this bar is placing on the door header, that's why it's solid enough and no need to place a wood in between the gap. I would suggest to mark it then enlarge the hole in the first place. Once you holding this bar, the exhausting time is begin because you are able to use to impact gun at the bottom screws only. Ready for a strong torque wrench with a 12mm is necessary too. Enjoy!

Good but hard to install
It's a solid bit of kit and very good once in place. However, you need a socket wrench to get the screws in, and it's not possible to use it on the innermost holes as the bars get in the way. I did those with a spanner, which is hard although not impossible.
