This curling iron heats up quickly…in about 30-45 seconds.It has a digital display. When you turn it on, it defaults to 360°. You can set the temperature of the curling iron for anywhere from 140° to 430°. The digital display will run up in numbers until the desired degrees are obtained, to show you it’s heating up. The temperature will show steady when the desired temperature is reached.The curling iron came with a gift hair clip as well.The display is easy to read, and I like that you can tell when the desired temperature has been obtained.It curled my hair as expected. The barrel is a large barrel…it is not for short hair.I was impressed with the heating display, and the temperature controls.Recommended.

This curling iron has a large diameter rod that creates big spiral curls that my wife loves and I think looks great. It’s way bigger than her old one but it takes more hair and produces great waves that hold all day. It has digital heat display with an up, on/off, and down button so you control the heat level. She didn’t have it all the way up and it was almost too hot, the curls took 3-4 seconds to form. This is great curling iron for big curls.

I have very thick hair which takes a while to curl. This curling iron wand with tourmaline ceramic does a great job. I am able to get more hair at a time around the wand to curl. It created nice bouncy curls very quickly. You can set the heat setting- and it shows on the digital heat display on the wand.I prefer this type over the wands that don’t have the clasp. For thicker hair- the clasp is handy.

The 1.25 inch barrel is the perfect tool to create the beach wave look. It helps create more natural-looking, bigger, looser curls. Just make sure you hold the curler vertically, even while you let go of the clamp. I have long, thick hair, and I was able to crate the beach wave look in less than 10minutes. The curler does get hot, I suggest you use the glove that came it.

The Curling Iron wand has an adjustable digital temperature display with programmable auto shut-off. And the temperature range from 140 to 430. Also, The heat setting for my hair is 370 to 430 cause my hair is thick, coarse, and textured. It's the most excellent curling iron I have ever used on my hair, and please make sure you have a good heat protection spray.
