The comp two has dual voice coils for a flexible design and a higher quality sound. They both sound Awsome the company 2 you can hear the highs a little more.

I hooked up this kicker to a 1000w 2 channel amp and it's muffled and not loud. Am i doing something wrong?

Oh man you should get a hold of the seller and explain your situation and hopefully you'll be able to get your couns back or exchange it for something more comparable.. Always do your research when dealing with these types of electronics cuz a 1000w amp may not be compatible with some speakers.
