DIY Dream
The media could not be loaded. For £11 it’s great! We needed to cut polystyrene insulation boards 25mm thickness. It heats up within seconds and if glide it back and forth like a saw but smoothly, it will move down and cut easily. Recommend for any DIY projects - sure we will find more uses for it down the line.

Not fit for purpose
Bought this to cut some 2” upholstery foam. It starts to cut but about 5mm into the work the heat has dissipated so as it stops cutting. It takes at least a minute to recover so is totally useless. It would probably be ok on very thin foam.

Does what it suppose to do
It is fit for purpose. Value for money for the job I wanted to do. Not a professional tool but I just needed to cut holes in polystyrene, took a while but worked so I am satisfied.
