It's cordage for shtf situations, in bugout bag.
Bought this just in case we go back 100 years or so by war or solar flare that takes out the giant transformers that take years and millions to manufacture. It's tough and I'm not comparing it to 550, but it will secure tarp for tent or wrap knife around pole for make shift spear. Would make great trot line or pull system to raise food out of reach of animals. Like I said it's cheap cordage and I promise I'll use it someday for something. Until then it's light af and belongs in survival/bug out bag. Hope this is helpful but I doubt it. Strong string too and I'm guessing about 80lb test or slightly more.

This is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
This is not at all what is advertised. It’s just basic very low quality twisted nylon line. It is not tarred at all. Knots do not hold and it’s very slippery. The line unravels easily because it’s very stiff nylon and there’s nothing holding it together (like tar). Completely unscrupulous seller trying to pass this off as anything other than super low quality utility line worth maybe $6. Don’t buy this stuff.

Durable
Very very durable. It holds up my full grown plants in my garden. It doesnt frey or break despite the weight.

Decent cord for the price, but it doesn't quite meet expectations.
Pros, the green cordage is fairly rigid and ties reasonably well. It's green color would work well for inconspicuously tying plants to stakes. Cut ends fuse easily with a lighter. It has good working strength for the projects I've tried it on.Cons, the green cord is not tarred. It unravels easily and can get tangled in itself if tension or twist are not mainted.

Super strong, but not so sure about the "tarred".
Product arrived quickly, neatly packaged. This bank line is incredibly strong. It's thicker than plain old string, but thinner than twine, but really really really strong. I haven't found clear information about what constitutes a "tarred" bank line, and just by observation I can't tell if it is or it isn't.But I will say that it performs and has all the characteristics as advertised 100%. It's strong. It's durable. It clearly is very low friction... which make me believe it IS tarred, because plain nylon would have more grip than this line does. Great stuff. I look forward to using it in all my bushcraft, and anywhere else I can come up with to use it. Tensile strength is supposed to be over 300 lbs.... I wouldn't use it to permanently support something over that... but it could temporarily probably take even more. But be safe. Please.

Meh
The good:It's as advertised... nylon line that is twisted. It feel sturdy. The bad:It's stiff and it frays - because it is twisted. This makes it hard to use in short lengths.IF what you are looking for is an inexpensive line that is relatively strong and you don't plan to use it in shorter lengths (or are willing to cut a longer length and then trim the excess then this is a fine line.IF you want something that ties easily and isn't prone to fraying, look elsewhere.
