i am female and have high arches but no padding on forefoot. what is the best insole for me?

First, what do you mean by "no padding"? Is that on your foot or a prospective shoe insert? The orange ones have padding at the front. I have low arches and have to have the orange ones. I don't know which ones are for high arches. I am very glad I saw a Podiatrist, first. There is more to all this, hence, the five varieties.

What does it mean 2 count? 2 pairs of inserts?

Only one right and one left insert. Not 2 pair--only one pair of inserts

Can orange be used for women or not recommended? i have extreme plantar fasciitis (currently casted for it) & need a firm heel cup

I bought these according to my foot doctor he recommended these as the best. I think I paid 55 dollars on Amazon. There great. I have both neuropathy and plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I am sure if you pick your shoe size it will be great. I am not using mine because the dress shoes does not have enough room. But Medicare buys one diabetic shoe for me. 150 dollars a year. Get a shoe for your plantar fasciitis comes with 3 pairs of insoles.

are these insole good for flat feet?

They can be if you have flexible flat feet. If your feet are flat and rigid these may irritate your feet. Have other arch supports made your feet feel better or cause more pain? If they make you feel better, then these are great insoles.
