Zebra Zero Case for Raspberry Pi Zero & Zero Wireless - Laser Lime w Heatsinks

A great, slim, inexpensive case that is well made and looks great. One thing to note - it comes with a heatsink that is designed to fit the case. The one that came with my Pi0W didn't fit, so make sure you use the one that comes with this case.

I bought the case because it looked the part. It definitely is worth the price. First, it is US made, which is important. Second, it didn't take long to assemble. Once the paper was peeled off the plastic (which I appreciate, because it means the plastic isn't scratched in transit), it was easy to build, and the stick-on heat sink is greatly appreciated.I definitely plan to get more, and I wish there were a model allowing for multiple Raspberry Pi Zeros to be placed in one unit. For what it does, definitely five stars. Everything about it is well machined, and the assembly pictures are highly accurate, ensuring that the plastic pieces are properly placed and aligned.

I've never written a review on amazon before because I just never felt the need to. But every time I think of this pi cover, I get filled with a warm and fuzzy sensation. I love the color - I got the laser green version - gives me a clear gameboy color vibes. It's secure. It's minimal. It's perfect. I'll probably order more of these any time I get a new pi zero.

Seriously this is the best I have tried for 'naked' Pi Zero applications that do NOT require extra room for header pins for GPIO. I haven't tried to make headers work with this case.This kit includes TWO top parts, because as of June 2018, the Zero W (with radios enabled) and the plain Zero have slightly different locations for the Broadcom SOC. I am sending my W off to be used in a classroom, and I keep the non-W top as a little top-only protector for another project!Heat sink is also included, you just peel off some tape on it and stick it on the chip.The case looks as if it is glowing, just like the product photo. Even the screws are gorgeous! It's a great design.I have purchased other Zero cases on eBay, they cost at least $3 and -- despite photos and descriptions -- they arrive without heat sinks, the screws are not great, the plastic parts are usually just fine. But why risk that? Just get this one!

It does a great job of protecting my Raspberry Pi Zero. However, there are some minor drawbacks. For me these were it can get a little hot in some situations, which has led to stability issues for me. Also it does not protect well from dust (or water) as its an open case. It appears to be meant primarily for impact protection.Overall, the Zebra Zero Case is a cost-effective option for protecting your Raspberry Pi Zero. I’ve bought a few C4Labs cases over the years and I was happy to see they’re still around and that the company itself is as great to do business with as always. I’m pretty sure this is a one-man shop.This case fits my new Pi Zero perfectly, and the acrylic looks as neon in person as it does in pictures. I had no issues putting it together, but some people might find it frustrating to assemble a case in stacked layers like this.Just beware when buying this that you won’t have access to the GPIOs at all using this case. There is a version that exposes these through the top, but this is not it!

They look cool for an inexpensive price

Fantastic case for the Zero W. Very easy to put together, and the assembly instructions that came with it are pretty simple. That the ports are much more accessible than with the official Pi Zero W case is nice, as you can insert connectors fully.My Pi Zero W already had the heatsink from that came in the kit from Canakit installed, so I didn't bother with the heatsink that comes with the case, but it appears to be adequate.Be careful to not tighten the screws too much as it could not only crack the plastic, but it could squeeze the micro sd card slot, making a card fit more tightly.Overall, I couldn't be happier.

C4 Labs makes the best cases for anything IMHO. This is the fourth their case I buy. The case is of great quality and looks amazing. With Raspberry Pi Zero W inside it looks like a jewel. Highly recommended for everybody who loves modern tech.There is also one detail that makes it much more convenient to use than official RPi cases: it's very easy to exchange the micro SD card.
