If you know how to use a computer and enjoy buttery smooth gaming. Then this monitor is for you.
First of all I don't know why the people writing bad reviews had such a hard time getting the 144hz refresh rate to work. My computer recognized the monitor immediately and had no problem displaying 144hz. Perhaps they should try having the appropriate graphics card drivers installed.....As for the preset brightness/picture settings I have to say they are incredibly handy. The Cinema mode makes world of warcraft absolutely pop with brilliant color and the FPS game setting made borderlands 3 a breeze in the darkest cave levels to navigate. The built in cross hairs made getting head shots in killing floor 2 feel like I was cheating...All in all I have to say this was definitely worth the upgrade. Great for watching videos, gaming, school work and with the built in blue light reducer hardware it's a true treat for the eyes.

Keep looking. Don’t buy these.
Don’t do it ! I used to have Asus monitors that were pretty nice. Unfortunately the quality has gone down hill over there. First off my computer would not recognize the monitor correctly no matter how hard I tried. After being online with support for two hours we figured out that the issue was a bad dvi Input on the monitor. As vga worked fine bit could not get over 60 hz. So I’m okay I guess because since I just bought it and they said they are going to replace it. (Too late for amazon return). So I go on hold with support for an hour and they say that there are no replacements avail. But there will be some in the next 48 hours. So two weeks later and nothing from them. When I call they say the same thing. It’s like a pre planned comment for everybody. All people all the exact same wording. I also purchased 2 more at the same time and only one monitor works correctly. The second monitor will not go into menu function. So u have a 33 percent chance your monitor will work with my calculations..

A neat concept that fails to deliver.
I have used this monitor for over a year now and feel that a review is necessary now.1. The screen size, and the curved aspect are great.2. Coloration of the screen can be a bit wonky. Compared to other monitors, this one requires much more setup to get it just right.3. The screen randomly blacks out for 10 seconds once every few days. This has occurred since I got the screen, and there is seemingly no workaround.4. The advertised 144 hz is a farce. You cannot capitalize on 144 hz with HDMI or DVI. You NEED a displayport connection to even use it.5. The built in "gaming" features are not really worth it. The crosshairs are bulky and completely counterproductive. I would love just a small green dot on the center of the screen.Overall it is not a bad monitor, but the price tag is not justified.

Fantastic Picture
Have had this monitor for quite sometime now and I am extremely satisfied. I am a casual gamer, so I cannot attest to the finer details some avid techies can when it comes to montiors, but I have had zero issues with the monitor, and the colors are crisp, clear and bright. The contrast is great, and the motion blur appears non existent to me.

Great Monitor
A bit more adjustment would have been a plus, but the screen itself is very nice.

Faulty after a few years
A nice monitor. Good size and gentle curve but it dies after a bit. I noticed the screen failing but would only last a few moments, I ignored it since it wasnt a big deal and thought it was the cable. Well, I should have gotten it fixed while it was in warranty because it's not the cable, or the GPU, it's the monitor. This is my third Asus monitor, the other two have no issues and one is even older. Support wants an $85 shipping/diagnostic fee to tell me what it would cost to even repair. Some reason I have a feeling the repair would cost nearly as much as it did when it was new 6 years ago.Meh.

I sent mine back because it had a MASSIVE brightness issue. Not sure if I got a dud, or if it is the model itself.

Great quality, perfect ratio, crystal clear picture.
Great monitor has a very good quality. I have enjoyed every game that I have played on it. It highlights everything doesn’t ever seem to bright or dim and highlights effects and environment perfectly.
