I did not order a used or returned product. This was opened and missing the cleaning materials and had part of it pealed off... How is this allowed

Hi there, I just wanted to leave a quick review of this product (Surface book 2 Screen Protector) and company (Megoo). The application process for the screen protector was easy to follow and had helpful additions such as guiding tape, which is used to make the application easier and with better (straighter) results. They include everything you need to ensure that no dust particles remain on the screen (wet wipe, microfiber cloth, sticker dust remover). This is a must as dust prevents the protector from laying flat on the device. I will say that it may take time to get it perfect, but it's worth it as the protector will pretty much stay on the device as long as you want it there. So spend a little time upfront to get it right and never worry about screen scratches again :). The protector was almost perfect dimensions, maybe a millimeter off, so no big deal there. It works very well with the surface pen. I actually preferred having the screen protector on it for writing. It seemed to glide easier and the computer picked up writing better with the screen protector on the device. Plus I am not worried about scratching up a $2500 dollar device. All in all, I'd say it's worth the $20 for peace of mind. Lastly, a few words about the company. I actually had a small issue with my screen protector where the layers of the screen protector seemed to start becoming detached. I contacted their support team by email about the issue and within 24 hours I had another screen protector on its way. They have great customer service and were a delight to communicate with. A+. If you need a protector, go with this company, they stand by their products!

Got this screen protector for my new Surface Book 2. Taking it out of the box, I took a quick look at it and found a few scratches. I sent the customer support an email and they were back to me the next day apologizing and offering to send a new one free of charge. They offered me a 99% off coupon (which I find kind of funny) and are gonna ship it to me soon. I've been using the first one I had just to see how I like the screen protector and its very nice. It fits well with the laptop and I look forward to trying it without the scratch on the screen. The installation process was very easy; this coming from an animal owner with dogs that shed. I didn't even need to install it after taking a shower, just did it mid day. And on top of that, I was able to reapply it about 2 additional times to adjust it. Once I receive the replacement, I'll be sure to update with a 5th star!

Pros: (1) Packaging is very nice; (2) Installing process and instruction are clear and easy to follow, and the installation is precise in terms of the glass's cutting; (3) Clarity of the glass is very good; (4) The accessories along with the installation process are good and sufficient. Cons: Touch sensitivity, after installation of the screen protector is the biggest thing to me because I have the compatible Digital Nuvision Pen (Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) Compatible) and I want and need to touch the screen quite often. After installation of this protector, the touch sensitivity is become very weak and laggy; I have to touch either a little bit hard or repeatedly touch the screen to "activate" the touch screen to work. Even if I did twice calibration, the touching, with the installation of this protector, is still not good. To have comparison, before installation, (I know how sensitive the screen without the protector is), I touched (and I often touched the screen without the protector) the screen and also used the compatible Nuvision digital pen and both the touching and the digital pen worked perfectly and very sensitive. However, after installation, digital pen NEVER works and the touching becomes not very responsive. I do not like the touching after installation and I think, a few days later, when I do not feel like my screen would be accidentally cracked by someone else and when I become bored with it, I will have to peel off the protector and keep my screen "naked". To this moment, I lost my hope on the Surface Book screen protector's touching sensitivity: because this is the second brand product that I bought within a same month. Both (brands) products are not touching sensitive after installation. To be fair, I am not naming here which brand it is for the first time buy of the protector. I lost hope. I am disappointed with both brands protector's sensitivity functioning and I will not buy any other brand again as the screen protector.

This is a wonderful screen protector that has done exactly what it is advertised to do, protect my screen from scratches and cracks. Not only that but the customer service is amazing for this product, they respond quickly and are always willing to help solve any problems with the product. My first screen protector was damaged before I was able to install it when I bought the product over a year ago and they sent a free replacement right away. Now I am just getting another free replacement as I had the second one on my laptop for over a year and I never had any bubbling or issues with it besides the cracks that I put in it from clumsy accidents. The screen protector stood up to heavy use through 3 semesters of daily notetaking in college courses and as I said before the only reason it cracked is because of user error. While this will not save your screen from any real drops or accidents, it is a great item to have if you want to protect your screen from all those scratches and moments when you drop something else on the screen. Works pretty well with the Microsoft pen, sometimes gets a little finicky when writing in OneNote but overall love this product. If you install the product correctly then you should barely even notice it's there, there is no color distortion or effect on touch screen abilities, and the only way to tell it is there is from the thin edge on the bezels of your device.

Update: The support team reached out to me and quickly sent me another screen protector. I messed the second one up somehow too and they sent me a third one. This time I went to a local phone repair shop and let him do his magic to get it on right. It's now on and I can't even tell it's there. So in the end, great product, with good customer service. The only bad thing was what I mentioned below. Other then that I'm happy. I can't yet rate the quality of the product because I haven't got to use it yet. When I received my new screen protector I was nervous because I didn't want to mess up the installation. So I followed there instructions to T. To include doing the whole procedure in the bathroom after a shower. I tried to be as careful as possible but I still managed to get bubbles and the protector cracked while laying it down. So at this point I have not got much of a chance to test it out. I could tell it was really thin and the 5 minutes I used it felt fine. Fortunately for me I contacted MEGOO and told them what happened and they said they would send me another one for 99% off. That's great news. The bad side is they won't send it without me writing a review first. So here I am. I can't give them a 5 star review until I actually get to try out the product. Therefor I will leave this 3 star review for their willingness to replace my screen protector and will update this accordingly once I have had a chance to actually test it out.

I tried adding this to my laptop (Surface Book 2) but the adhesion didn't fully stick on the sides and started making airbubbles after a few hours. I tried pressing them out but they still came back after a few hours. I've used this product before and never had an issue adhering it to my laptop till I needed this new screen protector but this time it was more trouble trying to keep it to stay on fully than it was worth to protect the screen. I decided to just throw the screen protector away. It's not worth the price anymore.

The company does it’s best to make the installation really easy with the guide stickers and step-by-step instructions, And it’s really pretty to watch the protector adhere to the screen. Unfortunately it’s still hard to install the large protector and I just couldn’t get the last of my bubbles out and I contact customer service and they were very helpful in getting me a replacement free of charge. I can already tell even though mine has bubbles that the quality is really good and there’s no loss in the touch screen sensitivity. Well worth the investment and next time I have screen protector needs I’ll be sure to come back. Now I just have to endure these bubbles a little bit longer until the replacement comes in the mail!
