I have no idea how or why this works but it does!!!! It feels cooling and soothing the minute you slip it over your head. Has just enough pressure to help with the pain and feels slightly cooling. It’s pretty wonderful actually!!

Okay, so I never make a product review ever. But this has got to be the best thing I've purchased in 2 years off of amazon. It is so incredibly well made. You can tell they did their research and consulted with people who experienced terrible migraines to come up with such a pain relieving concept. The fabric is so squishy and weighted that there's something about it you can't help but love. If they ever turn this into some kind of a self-hugging blanket Ild totally buy it! That's how comforting it feels! If you have pain from headaches or migraines I could not recommend this item more.

I suffer from horrific migraines and As anyone knows it gets them, it’s debilitating and miserable. I have always used ice packs of all sizes and varieties to help, but it’s always a pain to keep it balanced on my head or hold it to the area that hurts the most. So when I saw this hats I had to have it. I’m happy to say that it fits like a glove and although it’s tight, it’s not too tight. It is extremely cold right out of the freezer but if you could get through that initial shock, it does bring Great relief. Unfortunately, when you take it off, the migraine is still there, but if there was a way for it to stay on longer, you may be able to knock it out faster. That’s why I just ordered my second hat so I could have them on rotation for my next migraine. This is not a miracle in a hat, But it does bring temporary relief and is the best way to hold something extremely cold for an extended period of time to your head. There’s something about having your entire head covered by a fitted ice pack that is a unique way of bringing relief. I think this is a great little invention and recommend it to anyone who also suffers from migraines. I also want to add that this product is very well-made. It feels heavy duty and durable and it would be hard to puncture or damage it. If you store it in the bag it comes with and put it in the freezer when you were not using it, it will last for quite some time from what I can tell.

Recently had surgery for chiari malformation, so my incision is at the back and base of my skull. This product has been a godsend for the headaches and swelling associated with recovery. It is soft enough to not put pressure on the sensitive areas. It is good out of the freezer for about 20 minutes and refreeze within 2 hours. Everything I read says to have ice packs on for only 20 minutes anyways to protect skin. Instructions say to freeze it in the bag it comes in. Unfortunately, the bag tore near the closing with regular use, so I'm not sure I get the full effect. I have not pulled it over my eyes as I don't need it in front. I wear it like a hat and make sure it covers the back of my head where I need it. I definitely recommend over wrapping type packs as it is difficult to judge tightness. (Mine has a hole in the top for ponytails but I leave my hair down.)

This thing gets so cold that sometimes I can't use it straight out of the freezer. The material is so soft and squishy- very comfortable. I love that it is able to fit over your eyes as well. The pont tail hole is very convenient as well, although I usually don't wear my hair up when I have a bad headache. The only thing I dislike is that the coolness doesn't last very kong- 10-15 mins max. I'm going to order another one so that I have 2 on hand. I rate this product a 10/10

This item has been a lifesaver. It remains cold for long enough to do its job and has been durable over many uses and re-uses.

My order came today, and there was an issue with one hat (very apparent because the other hat was perfect/what was ordered) Amazon customer service was very helpful and understanding of the situation, and resolved it well and quickly so I could re-order.Edit-these are in the freezer and ready as we head into the first heat wave of the year. Ordered another, because the quality was good and there is a sale on for the individual hats.Temp dropped, pretty cool here and had horrible headache turned migraine and this was AMAZING and helpful. It was so comfortable and soothing, allowed me to sleep and helped relax tension.
